From the ask Conway Facebook group: Are there any local scrapbook groups in Conway? Or do you and your friends have your own crafting or scrapbooking circle that might be interested in donating some pre-made scrapbook pages to NICU families as keepsakes during their NICU journey? I’m trying to start a new project for our babies but I need support from the community cos it’s kinda a lofty goal. 😬 Amy Garrett

I went and scheduled McGee crops through July today.

EDIT: I added a weekend in Jan (30 - Feb 1) and Feb (27 - Mar 1) in the SMALL ROOM. See the event for the hours.

I reserved:
March 27-29
April 24-25
May 29-31
June 26-28
July 24-26

For each weekend the McGee center is open 7 am - 9 pm on Friday and Saturday and 1 pm - 6 pm on Sunday.

The November crop was a fun weekend with lots accomplished!!

Good morning. I just reserved the meeting room at the McGee Center for the rest of the year. The hours are Fridays and Saturdays 7 am - 9 pm and Sundays 1 pm - 6 pm.

July 18-19 (only Friday and Saturday)
August 22-24
Sept 26-28
Oct 24-26
Nov 21-23
No December dates because people usually can’t make it.

I will also make Facebook events for each date.

I went by the McGee center today and reserved weekends from now to June. The McGee center is open from 7 am - 9 pm on Friday and Saturday and from 1 pm - 6 pm on Sunday.

We have the following weekends:
February 14-16
March 14-16
April 11-13
May 16-18
June 20-22

I reserved the large room at the McGee center for Sept 27-29, Oct 11-12, Nov 8-10. I can reserve a weekend in December if anyone is interested.

We have tried to update this page so that members can post but we can't figure out how. If you know and can help us, that would be awesome. Just contact Emily or Pam.

Edit: There are enough planning on going that we will keep the room. I just didn’t want to prevent the other group from using the room if no one was coming.

Please reply to this post or the August event if you are planning on cropping August 2-4. There is another group that is interested in using the room. I have told them we are planning on being there but I need to make sure we will be there!!!

We have the McGee center starting tomorrow. Anybody going? I know a few of us have conflicts and it is a holiday weekend. I’m scrapbooking all next week and have to tutor some tomorrow so I’m not sure if I (Emily) will make it.
