Friends of H.C.A.C.C. Conway, SC

Friends of H.C.A.C.C. Conway, SC We are 501(c)3 non-profit organization run entirely by volunteers. We strive to save unwanted, abandoned and abused pets from euthanasia.

We work with the shelter, the community and independently on outreach programs and functions to network and showcase the available adoptable pets to their best advantage. This is one way to bring adoptable pets into the public eye and increases their chances of adoption into a new loving home. PUH-LEASE do not contact us about your dog/cat/puppies/kittens that need a home, expecting us to cheerful

ly take them off your hands at no expense, we do not have the space or resources. Occasionally we may have foster(s) available to take a dog or a litter, but there are so many it doesn’t happen often. We can help network, get the word out for you, we may be able to suggest other avenues to explore to find new home and we can even work with you to help get your pet spayed if you are willing. We are a 501(c)3, non-profit corporation. We are dedicated to helping Horry County attain a no-kill status where no healthy, adoptable animal is put down for lack of space or resources. Funds raised here are used here in Horry County to educate the public about responsible pet ownership and fully vet any pets we take out. We promote micro-chipping to bring more lost pets home and spaying/neutering to reduce the amount of unwanted pets being born each year. We are striving to establish low cost spay/neuter clinics to make this a reality! Any pet you adopt from us is up to date on all shots, micro-chipped and spayed or neutered.

General information

We became a registered all volunteer non-profit public charity on July 13, 2012. We incorporated in March of 2013 and joined the Conway Chamber of Commerce. We are a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation. We do not have our own facility yet, we depend on approved foster homes for out of state adopters or pets we (Friends of HCACC) adopt. We are more than willing to help anyone who wants to adopt a shelter dog by: 1. Finding a temporary foster home if necessary. 2. Using our network of other rescues and volunteers to advertise our needs. 3. Taking the foster to the vet’s for health certificate for out-of-state adopters. 4. Working with out-of-state adopters with transports. 5. Provide advice or training from our experienced trainers for an adopted pet’s issues.
