Freezin' for a Reason Race Freezin for a Reason will take place February 1, 2020 and will begin and end at the Conway High School, located at 2300 Prince Street in Conway, Arkansas.

The 5k/10k will begin at 9 am. The Lap for Life and kids race will begin at approx 10:45 am.

General Information-Our Why

Freezin for a Reason started in 2013 as a way to honor Charlotte and Stella Mulhearn. Both Charlotte and Stella received treatment at Arkansas Children’s Hospital. Although their stories do not have the happy ending their family would have wanted, The Mulhearn’s wanted to give back to Arkansas Children’s for the care, love and hope they received while their children were being treated there. In partnership with Faulkner County Circle of Friends, the annual event, Freezin for a Reason was born. All Proceeds benefit Arkansas Children’s Foundation, which supports the pediatric hospitals in the state as well as the Arkansas Children’s Research Institute.
