My Heart for Ukraine

Winter is here, and it’s cold. I went to the store to buy sunflower seed to feed the birds as they will be looking for food in the snow. The price was significantly higher and I asked why. They said it was because the #1 exporter of sunflower seed is Ukraine. After a moment of thought, I was thankful that this was one more thing that kept my mind and heart on the people of Ukraine who are in a battle for their lives and their homeland.

My Christmas wish - is that the people who come to this page will go to www.myheartforukraine.com and purchase some cards with original artwork from women in Kiev, Ukraine so I can send them some more money (100% of money received goes to them) to help them make it through the dark cold winter and help them stay brave and defeat the Russian barbarians and rebuild their country.

Thinking about buying some cards to support artists in Ukraine? This is a glimpse of life for them in the last day or so. Thank you in advance for supporting the My heART for Ukraine project.

Ukraine raced to restore power across the country on Thursday, a day after Russia sent a new barrage of missiles to target critical infrastructure, resulting in the temporary shutdown of most of its power plants and leaving the "vast majority" of people without electricity.

Here’s a great idea to celebrate Thanksgiving and usher in the Christmas / holiday season. Please join me, you’ll be glad you did.

With the recent bombings in Ukraine, and all of us in our warm, light houses with running water, celebrating Thanksgiving and Christmas coming up, it is a great time to purchase some blank note cards to use to send notes or give as gifts for Christmas. The artwork is beautiful.

It would make me happy to see 75 people purchase cards at www.myheartforukraine.com so I can send $1,000 to the artists who are in the cold, dark without running water. Such brave people the Ukrainian people are, let’s support them by buying and sharing their art. If you purchase some cards, comment on this post.

Speaking at the Conway Chamber’s CEO luncheon today. I will mention the My Heart for Ukraine 🇺🇦 initiative. Everyone will receive a card from one of the artists from Ukraine. And without any preplanning, there are sunflowers on the tables! It’s going to be a great day.
