๐Ÿ’œ REMEMBER. CONNECT. SAVE LIVES.
Yesterday, the ACCESS FAVOR team was honored to stand alongside our community at the International Overdose Awareness Day event at Chapin Park in Myrtle Beach.

More than 200 people came together to remember lives lost to overdose, support those who are grieving, celebrate the courage of recovery and connect people with resources that can save lives.

For our team, being there was about sharing information, listening, connecting, and reminding people that help is available and recovery is possible.

We are grateful to the Myrtle Beach Fire Department Opioid Response Team for bringing our community together for such an important evening and to every person who shared a story, honored a loved one, offered support or took time to learn how they can help save a life.

As we begin National Recovery Month, we carry this message forward:
๐Ÿ’œ Every life has value.
๐Ÿ’œ Every story matters.
๐Ÿ’œ Recovery is possible.
๐Ÿ’œ And there are still lives to save!

ACCESS FAVOR is proud to be part of a community working together to turn awareness into action, connection into hope and hope into recovery.

๐Ÿ’œ September is National Recovery Month! ๐Ÿ’œ
This month, ACCESS FAVOR joins communities across the country in celebrating the millions of people living in recovery and reminding everyone of one powerful truth:
โœจ Recovery is real. Recovery is possible. โœจ
Recovery happens every day in our families, workplaces, neighborhoods, and communities. It looks different for everyone, but every recovery journey deserves to be recognized, supported, and celebrated.
Throughout September, weโ€™ll be sharing messages of hope, education, encouragement, and connection because no one should have to walk the road to recovery alone.
Whether you are in recovery, love someone in recovery, work in the recovery community, or simply want to be part of creating a community where people can heal and thrive, you have a role in recovery.
This month, help us celebrate recovery, challenge stigma, and spread hope. ๐Ÿ’œ

Turn It Over Tuesday ๐Ÿค
You can care about someone without carrying everything for them.
What responsibility that isnโ€™t yours can you set down today?
๐Ÿ‘‰ If you needed this reminder, consider sharing it with someone who may need it too.

๐Ÿ’œ There are still lives to save.
On International Overdose Awareness Day, we remember every life lost to overdose. But we also look ahead to the lives we can still protect.
Overdose is preventable.
Knowing the signs of an overdose, having naloxone available, reducing stigma, connecting people to support and reminding someone that recovery is possible can save lives.
Every person struggling with substance use disorder is someoneโ€™s child, parent, sibling, spouse, friend or loved one. Every one of those lives is worth fighting for.
So today, as we remember those weโ€™ve lost, letโ€™s also commit to doing everything we can for those who are still here.
๐Ÿ’œ Know the signs.
๐Ÿ’œ Carry naloxone.
๐Ÿ’œ Start the conversation.
๐Ÿ’œ Connect people to support.
๐Ÿ’œ Never give up on recovery.
There are still lives to save. And every life is worth saving.

๐Ÿ’œ May they always be remembered.

Today, on International Overdose Awareness Day, we remember the lives lost to accidental overdose and stand with the families and loved ones who carry their memory every day.

Every person lost was someoneโ€™s child. Someone loved them.
Someone remembers their smile, their laugh, their story and the difference they made in this world.

We invite you to remember them with us.

๐Ÿ’œShare a photo of your loved one in the comments, tell us their name or share a special memory. We would be honored to remember them with you. ๐Ÿ’œ

Their lives were more than the way they died. Their stories matter. Their names matter. They will always be remembered.

Wednesdays matter. ๐Ÿค
Join us this Wednesday for our All-Recovery Meeting at ACCESS FAVOR in Conway.

Life can feel heavy sometimes. Whether you are walking your own recovery journey or supporting someone you love, you do not have to carry it alone. Our All-Recovery Meetings are open to individuals and families impacted by substance use disorder, and we welcome all pathways of recovery.

Come as you are.
Share if youโ€™d like.
Listen if you need.
Just sit and be if thatโ€™s what feels right.

What matters most is that you show up. And when you do, you will find community, encouragement, and understanding.

๐Ÿ’œ International Overdose Awareness Day ๐Ÿ’œ
Today, August 31, ACCESS FAVOR joins communities around the world in recognizing International Overdose Awareness Day.
We remember the lives lost to overdose. We hold close the families and friends who carry their memories. We stand beside those who have survived an overdose, those who are struggling, and those who are walking the path of recovery.
Behind every number is a person. A son. A daughter. A parent. A sibling. A spouse. A friend. A life that mattered and a story that deserves to be remembered.
Today is also a reminder that overdose is preventable.
Education matters.
Naloxone saves lives.
Connection matters.
And recovery is possible. ๐Ÿ’œ
At ACCESS FAVOR, we believe every person deserves compassion, dignity, support, and the opportunity to build a life in recovery. No stigma. No shame. Just hope, help, and community.
On International Overdose Awareness Day, we remember those we have lost, support those who are still here, and continue working toward a future where fewer families experience the heartbreak of overdose.
๐Ÿ•ฏ๏ธ Remember.
๐Ÿ’œ Support.
๐Ÿค Connect.
โœจ Recover.
