Today, I’m taking a moment to celebrate something that means the world to me—I finally earned my college degree. At this stage in my life, it wasn’t always easy, but I stayed committed, pushed through challenges, and didn’t give up.
I chose to share this on the 19th anniversary of losing my dad. Not a day goes by that I don’t think about him, and I hope he’s looking down on me with pride today.
More than anything, I did this to show my children, grandchildren, godchildren and my Christmas Angels that it’s never too late to chase your goals and better yourself. I want them to know that hard work, dedication, and faith can take you anywhere, no matter when you start.
This accomplishment isn’t just for me—it’s for my family, my future, and the example I hope to leave behind. Dad, I hope you’re proud of me. I’m proud of myself, and I’m just getting started. 🎓💙
