The Dalton Troy Foundation is excited to announce our 2026 Red Ribbon Week Student Challenge!🎗️

This year's theme is:

🌟 MAKE A DIFFERENCE. BE A HERO. STAY DRUG FREE.🌟

We want to see YOUR creativity, YOUR ideas, and YOUR message! 🎨✍️🎶🎬

How can choosing to live drug-free help you make a difference in your life, encourage others, and create a brighter future for your community?

Express yourself through artwork, drawings, paintings, posters, essays, poems, photography, original songs, videos, or ANY original creative expression! There are so many ways to make your voice heard. ❤️

Students can participate individually or in groups! You do not have to share personal experiences with substance misuse or loss to participate. We simply want to encourage positive choices, spread awareness, inspire hope, and remind young people that their choices matter and their voices can make a difference.

❤️ OUR HEARTS ARE FULL. THANK YOU. ❤️

Today was about love, remembrance, awareness, and community — and because of YOU, the 4th Annual Feel the Love Memorial Ride & Festival was a beautiful day honoring Dalton and all of our loved ones whose lives have been impacted by this devastating crisis.

There truly are not enough words to say thank you.

To every rider who showed up and rode in Dalton’s memory, to every family who came out, to everyone who stopped by the festival, and to everyone who simply came to support and spread love — thank you for being there.❤️

To our incredible volunteers and Foundation board members, thank you for giving your time, your energy, your ideas, and so much of yourselves to make today possible. So much work happens behind the scenes, and we could not do this without you.

To our amazing sponsors, thank you for believing in our mission and choosing to invest in this cause. Your support allows us to continue spreading awareness, encouraging our youth, supporting families, and keeping Dalton’s memory alive.

To all of our vendors, food vendors, businesses, and community partners, thank you for spending your day with us and helping make the festival such a fun, welcoming place for everyone who came out.

A special thank you to DJ Ricky Spinz, The Mariah Faith, and Maggie & Coop for helping fill our afternoon with great music and energy.

Thank you to Kevin Johnson for leading our Memorial Ride prayer and to Daniel Alford for leading our 3:00 PM prayer. Those moments of prayer and remembrance mean so much to our family and to everyone who carries a loved one in their heart.

Thank you to Wild Woods Farm for being part of our Memorial Ride and giving our riders a special stop to pause, remember, and celebrate Dalton’s love for animals. 🐴❤️

Thank you to Cows & Cones Creamery for being part of our ride and giving everyone a sweet stop along the way. 🍦❤️

Thank you to everyone who helped with parking, check-in, the booths, raffles, silent auction, setup, cleanup, photographs, drone coverage, and all the little things that most people never see.Every job mattered.

Thank you to our Horry County Police for supporting our event and helping keep our community safe.

And thank you to every person who shared a post, invited a friend, made a donation, sponsored something, bought a raffle ticket, purchased merchandise, volunteered, said a prayer, or simply showed up.

Most importantly, thank you for helping us continue to tell Dalton’s story.

Dalton was only 17 years old, and although his life was far too short, his love continues to reach people he never had the chance to meet. That is the heart behind everything we do.
