Today, on National Fentanyl Awareness Day, we remember the lives taken too soon, educate our communities, and continue conversations that could save a life. 💜

For the Dalton Troy Foundation, this day is deeply personal.

Dalton Troy Baker was only 17 years old when his life was taken by accidental fentanyl poisoning. His story is a reminder that fentanyl does not discriminate and that what someone believes to be one pill can have irreversible consequences.

Illicit fentanyl is extremely potent and can be found in counterfeit pills and other drugs—often without the person taking them knowing it is there. Awareness and education matter. Talk to your children. Talk to your friends. Know the risks. Never take a pill that was not prescribed to you and obtained directly from a licensed pharmacy.

We cannot bring Dalton back, but we can continue to say his name, share his story, and use his legacy to help protect someone else.

Through the Dalton Troy Foundation, we will continue to Believe in Yourself, Encourage Others, and Spread Hope. 💙

Today and every day, we remember Dalton Troy — Forever 17.

One pill can kill. One conversation can save a life.

💙 Bereaved Parents Month 💙

At the Dalton Troy Foundation, we recognize Bereaved Parents Month as a time to honor every mother and father who carries the unimaginable loss of a child.

Grief is a journey no parent ever chooses, and it doesn’t matter how old our children were—they will always be our children. While the pain of loss never completely disappears, neither does the love. Love continues. Memories endure. Hope remains.

Dalton’s life continues to inspire the mission of our foundation. His legacy reminds us that even in our deepest sorrow, God can bring purpose, compassion, and hope. Through every act of kindness, every family we encourage, and every life we touch, his light continues to shine.

To every bereaved parent reading this: You are not alone. Your child’s life matters. Their story matters. And your love for them will never fade.

“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” — Psalm 34:18

May we continue to honor our children by choosing love over despair, hope over fear, and faith over hopelessness. We look forward to the day when every tear will be wiped away and we will be reunited with those we hold so dearly in our hearts.

With love,
The Dalton Troy Foundation 💙

💙 Keeping Dalton’s legacy alive, one student at a time

The Dalton Troy Foundation is honored to continue giving back to our community by awarding our annual scholarship to a graduating senior at Conway High School.

This year, we are proud to recognize Matthew Daly as our scholarship recipient. Matthew, congratulations on this achievement! We hope this scholarship serves as a reminder that you are supported, believed in, and encouraged as you step into this next chapter.

Dalton’s life was far too short, but his impact continues to grow through the lives we are able to touch. Thank you to everyone who helps us honor his memory and carry his kindness, love, and legacy forward.

Congratulations, Matthew — we can’t wait to see all the amazing things you will accomplish. 💙

🗓️ April 29, 2026 – National Fentanyl Awareness Day

Today marks the 4th annual National Fentanyl Awareness Day — a day founded by parents who have tragically lost loved ones to the overdose crisis.

This day is about more than awareness — it’s about action.
⚠️ Illegal fentanyl is extremely lethal
💊 Many pills are counterfeit and may contain fentanyl
💉 Naloxone (Narcan) can reverse an opioid overdose and save lives

We stand alongside families, schools, organizations, and communities across the country working together to educate, prevent, and save lives.
💛 Take a moment today to:
• Learn the facts
• Talk to your family
• Carry naloxone if you can
Every conversation matters. Every life matters.
Take action. Spread the word. Save lives.
