At Sindji we believe that no child should be without basic necessities regardless of their life circumstances

Sindji Project is a multi-faceted non-profit organization focused on supporting disenfranchised children ,families and communities through the provision of life essentials, support services and opportunities that can enable a fulfilled and dignified life. Our work is directed towards the poorest communities in Africa and targets the most vulnerable populations : orphans, street children, refugees/displaced , marginalized individuals

This summer has been an exciting and busy one for our Sindji Project scholars.

We launched a a 12week summer reading camp designed to strengthen our scholars’ reading, comprehension, and critical-thinking skills while keeping them engaged and learning throughout the summer.

To support the program, we hired college students to lead and monitor reading sessions, facilitate discussions, and encourage our young scholars as they build confidence in their reading abilities.

We are so proud to invest not only in the children’s education, but also in creating opportunities for young people to contribute to their communities.

Our women’s group recently received hands-on training on how to make “Safnai Kabakuru” a popular household soap known locally as “rocky soap”.

With guidance from an experienced soap maker, the women learned everything from processing ingredients to mixing, molding, and pricing.

Moving forward, they will produce the soap independently once a month and sell it at their community market, creating a new source of income for their families.

is happy to introduce Haoua Bello, joining the team as our new Secretary.

Haoua has experience in project management, operations, and international development, having worked with organizations including Chemonics International, Winrock International, and Counterpart International. She holds a Master's degree in Public Service and is passionate about community development and creating lasting impact.

We're thrilled to have her on board and look forward to the contributions she'll make to our mission.

School wrapped up last week in Burkina Faso, and we're thrilled to celebrate all of our Sindji Scholars as they move on to the next grade! 🎉📚

We couldn't be prouder of how much they've grown, not just academically, but personally too. They are getting so big!

This summer, we're excited to continue learning and building community through fun activities with our scholars and our incredible women's group. ☀️💛

None of this would be possible without the generosity of our donors. ❤️

School started in Burkina Faso last week. Sindji Project provided its scholars with all that is needed for a successful school year- Supplies, Tuition, Admin fees, etc…

It's been a little while since we last shared updates about our Sindji Scholars.
This school year has been a great success for all our students- each one is advancing to the next grade level, and we’re even proud to have some middle schoolers now! 😊

These kids are growing so quickly, and we couldn’t be more excited for their journey ahead.

A huge thank you to our generous donors for making all of this possible. We can’t wait to see them take the next step toward High School !
