Come on out tomorrow to the Converse American Legion located at 326 Legion Drive starting at 6:30PM and learn from our Scouts as they demonstrate camp cooking using a portable stove!
These boys learn leadership, teamwork and a bunch of great life-lessons in Scouts 😎

Converse Scouts are back from an amazing campout and hiking adventure! These Scouts hiked along the Battle site of Solado Creek…visited the site of the Dawson Massacre and then traveled to LaGrange, TX to visit Monument Hill State Historic site.
The campout included a great campfire program and the Troop woke up to delicious breakfast tacos made by two of our Scouts!

Two of our Scouts are working on their Cooking Merit badge and practiced before the Eagle Scout project day…then worked as a team and grilled up some carne asada tacos with grilled onions on the big day! They were delicious…great job Scouts!
*Our Troop is meeting tomorrow night (Monday) at 6:30PM at the Converse American Legion….come on out and learn more about this Troop and all the cool activities they learn!

Congratulations to Eagle Scout Candidate Eli and his team at Converse Troop 593 for the successful completion and installation of his Eagle project at Anton Schumann Park…a really cool Bat House! This bat house will work to support our ecosystem! Bats are just that cool…and so is this team 😎

We are sharing another awesome recent Eagle Scout project by one of our own…Dante Baker! He led this project which included benches in front of the Converse Community Center and even at a local school!
Converse Scouts are doing BIG things to make a difference in their community…..come on out this Saturday at Schumann Park located at 10565 Old Cimmaron Trail around 12noon to see another cool project and learn about joining Scouts! 😎
