Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Omega Upsilon Omega Chapter wears red every February to raise awareness on the risk factors that place Black women at risk for cardiovascular disease and encourage action to prevent and reduce risk. We share our personal stories, learn more about the disease and statistics, and discuss ways to ensure our heart health.

Take charge of your well-being, know your numbers, and adopt healthier lifestyles to prevent heart disease.

MLK Day of Service is upon us! Meet
Omega Upsilon Omega at Heather Farms Park to drop off donations for our annual Essential Hygiene Drive benefiting , in observation of MLK Day of Service - "We Are One" on Monday, January 19, 2026. We are accepting diapers (baby and adult), wipes, and feminine hygiene donations in their original, sealed packaging.

See the 2nd slide for our drop off location. Look for the pink and green balloons! We hope to see you between 1:00-3:00 PM!

In honor of Black History Month, Omega Upsilon Omega encourages you to participate in the annual walk at Thurgood Marshall Regional Park: Home of the Port Chicago 50. Join us on Saturday, February 7 or Sunday, February 8, 2026 from 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m., as we explore the stories of resistance and bravery that played a pivotal role in desegregating the U.S. Armed Forces.
