This Thursday is Fran's 30th birthday. One of his dreams was to have an international, world class open water 10k on US soil. Even though Fran was not here to see it, he would be proud that we were able to pay it forward and make that dream a reality for our athletes this past weekend. Thank you to all who made the FIRST ANNUAL possible! Thank you especially to USA Swimming, GCST (and their parents especially), Miromar Lakes, Jolyn Swimwear and Clothing, Vasa, AlmaMater Custom Apparel, TYR, Gatorade, Speedo, Fit2Run and many, many more. Thank you to the athletes, coaches, officials and Lee County lifeguards for making the Open Water Festival a safe success!! We can't wait for next year!!
