☀️ IMPORTANT 4TH OF JULY RACE DAY UPDATE ☀️

With the current Heat Advisory in effect, we want to let everyone know that the Conshohocken Soap Box Derby is still scheduled for Saturday, July 4th.

The safety of our racers, families, volunteers, and spectators is our top priority. We are working closely with the Borough of Conshohocken, our Fire Department, and EMS to implement additional safety precautions throughout the day.

We also ask that every family come prepared for the heat by bringing:
💧 Plenty of water and electrolyte drinks
🧊 Cooling towels, fans, or misting bottles
⛺ A tent or canopy for your pit area
🧴 Sunscreen, hats, and lightweight clothing

Please watch your racer and family members closely for any signs of heat exhaustion or dehydration. If your racer has difficulty tolerating extreme heat or if you have any concerns, please let a race official know immediately.

Let’s all work together to keep everyone safe while enjoying a great day of racing. We appreciate everyone’s cooperation and look forward to seeing you on the hill!

🚨 FINAL INSPECTION & IMPOUNDMENT IS MANDATORY 🚨

⏰ 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
📍 Fellowship House Community Room
(6th & Harry Streets)

❗ BOTH THE DRIVER AND CAR MUST ATTEND ❗

🚫 NO FINAL INSPECTION = NO RACING ON JULY 4TH 🚫

Please make sure your car is race ready:
✔ Body shell attached
✔ All body screws installed
✔ Required weights installed

All racers will be weighed and certified during inspection.

We are also looking for volunteers (21+) to help drive trailers and vans. If interested, please contact us.
