Our volunteers still knocked on hundreds of doors – with a hot lunch, a fruit box, and a few minutes of company.

For many homebound seniors, that knock is the only one all day.

Scott Law Firm brought 17 team members, lots of energy, and plenty of hard work to Meals On Wheels Montgomery County last week! 💙

We had such a great time having this team with us - and they jumped right in to make a big impact before heading out on their routes.

Together, they:

🥫 Sorted and date-checked 300 nonperishable food items
🥣 Sorted and date-checked 125 breakfast bags
🍎 Assembled 114 breakfast bag bundles
🐾 Decorated and filled 40 AniMeal bags
🛍️ Assembled 23 grocery bags

What an incredible day of service with CRANE! 💙

18 CRANE team members from across the country were in The Woodlands for a conference, and we were so grateful they chose to spend part of their time here with Meals On Wheels Montgomery County! We love seeing service prioritized in a company’s culture - and this team truly put that into action!

Together, they:
🐾 Packaged 36 AniMeal bags
🎂 Assembled 63 birthday bags
🛍️ Packed 48 grocery bags
🍎 Quality-checked 140 fruit boxes
🥫 Sorted and checked donated food
🚗 AND delivered 8 routes to our homebound seniors!

From behind-the-scenes preparation to delivering a friendly smile at the door, this group made a HUGE meaningful impact in just one day. Thank you, CRANE, for making service a priority and for spending part of your time in The Woodlands serving our seniors! 💙

We were honored to attend the inaugural Prevailing HOPE Luncheon, hosted by Child Advocates of Montgomery County, featuring pilot Amelia Rose Earhart! ✈️

Amelia, who shares the name of the legendary aviator Amelia Earhart, made history herself in 2014 when she flew around the world in a single-engine aircraft. Her message was one that truly resonated with us: “You have to learn to love the turbulence.”

At Meals On Wheels Montgomery County, we know that life’s journey doesn’t always go as planned. But with a little hope, a strong support system, and someone by your side, we can keep moving forward. 💙

Thank you to Child Advocates of Montgomery County for bringing our community together for such an inspiring afternoon and for the incredible work you do to advocate for children and families in our community. We’re grateful to stand alongside fellow nonprofits who are working every day to make a difference!

One of our favorite nights of the year! ✨

We had so much fun bringing the Meals On Wheels Montgomery County spirit to the The Woodlands Area Chamber of Commerce Chairman’s Ball!

The Chairman’s Ball is always such a fun celebration of our community, and we loved getting creative with our table this year. A huge congratulations to outgoing Chairman Justin Kendrick and a warm welcome to incoming Chairman Stuart Barrett! And thank you to the Chamber team for another incredible evening.

We’re proud to be part of a community where businesses and nonprofits come together, show up for one another, and make Montgomery County a better place. 💙

A huge thank you to the amazing team at Thind Management for spending their morning with Meals on Wheels Montgomery County! 💙

This incredible group rolled up their sleeves and made a BIG impact:

🐾 Decorated and filled 50 AniMeal cat food bags
🎂 Filled 33 Birthday Bags with donated supplies
🥣 Completed 84 Breakfast Bag bundles, each containing 7 individual breakfast bags
🛠️ Helped assemble a shelving unit to keep our supplies organized

And then they hit the road to deliver meals and a friendly visit to our homebound neighbors! Thank you, Thind Management, for giving your time and energy to partner with us in our mission! We’re so grateful for you! 💙

When McCullough Junior High experienced a sewer backup, their McCullough Junior High PTO wanted to do something special to help ease the stress for their teachers and staff. They turned to Meals On Wheels Montgomery County for cookies, and we were happy to help bring a little sweetness to a stressful day!

Thank you to all the amazing teachers and staff at McCullough Junior High for everything you do for our community! We hope these cookies made a tough day just a little bit better! 💙
