The first chapter of MRCA originally started as a Bible study for single mothers at a Texas church that MRCA Founder Tyra Hodge attended. This group provided the support Ms.Hodge needed to get her life back on track. Inspired by her experience with the group, renamed Mothers Raising Children Alone (MRCA) in 2004, Ms. Hodge incorporated MRCA in 2009. MRCA is based on the knowledge that God has a st

rategic plan for the lives of all of His children and offers guidance to single parents looking to build a better life for themselves and their families.
