Huge thank‑you to Woodard Tree Service for helping us today. After the recent winds, the entire top of a large tree broke and fell into a smaller tree, damaging most of it. The rest of the broken top was left hanging right next to the Food Pantry we are building with community support, and part of it was resting on the corner gutter. With the building having roof repairs and brand‑new gutters added, it was a situation that needed quick attention.

Anthony, owner of Woodard Tree Service, sent his son Jaden and Alfredo out right away. They handled the situation with professionalism, safely removing the broken top of the tree, taking down the damaged smaller tree, and cutting everything into manageable pieces.

Sometimes it’s the bait that lures in the big one 🎣🐟 What a catch we had today during Fishing Class! The smiles, excitement, and proud moments made for an unforgettable day on the water.

Our members had a blast learning fishing skills, practicing patience, and reeling in some impressive catches. We are hooked on all this fun! 🎣☀️

🎉 Wednesday was full of fun, laughter, and a little friendly competition as our members took a trip to Tejas Bingo! Everyone gave it their best shot hoping to hear that lucky “BINGO!” called out, and while we had one big winner in the group, the true win was the smiles, excitement, and wonderful sportsmanship shown by all. 💙

A huge thank you to Tejas Bingo for the warm hospitality and for making our members feel so welcome. We had an amazing time and created memories that will last long after the final number was called! 🎲✨

Bridgewood Farms is building out (within the next few months) a new lobby / welcome area, 4 new classrooms, 3 single office spaces, 3 consultation rooms, 1 family meeting space, 1 community boardroom space, 1 executive suite, and a large-staff development space. We are seeking room sponsors / underwriters and will commit naming honors to those interested.

We'd love to share with you our goals and next steps in serving our members, families, and community if you're wanting to be involved!

We had a contractor visit our campus recently to grab some final measurements as we near kickoff of the first phase in our building project. Measurements weren't the only thing he walked away with. He was impacted by the work we do. He told us he was blown away by the joy, energy, and sense of belonging here at Bridgewood Farms. The laughter in each room, the friendships in our day programs, the confidence our clients show as they build life skills; it all made a big impression.

And honestly…that’s the magic of this place.

We’re thrilled to be moving forward with this initial phase of construction, which will radically enhance our programs and create even more opportunities for adults with IDD to thrive. Big things are coming and we can’t wait to share every step with you!
