LMC 2026 Homecoming might have been our best one yet! 🏈🎉

This year, we decided start a new tradition by inviting our current Signature Class to join the fun, and it turned out to be one of the best decisions we've made!

It was so much fun watching our current class members connect with alumni, meet new friends, and enjoy the evening with their families. This is what the LMC family is all about!

Kids and adults alike enjoyed decorating Thanksgiving Bags for Meals on Wheels Montgomery County, making boot/bag/hair bows, creating Game Day shirts, face painting, and cheering on a great football game!

The Fizz & Forest Mobile Bartending dirty soda bar and The Hometown Chef Catering Co. nacho bar were a hit. We even had to call in pizza reinforcements...TWICE! 🍕😂

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the evening so special! We loved seeing so many familiar faces, meeting new ones, and bringing generations of LMC leaders together.

What a day for the LMC Class of 2027 as they kicked off their first session of the year — Leadership Development, sponsored and hosted by Memorial Hermann The Woodlands Medical Center!

The day was packed with opportunities for learning, growth, and connection. Class members explored their Hartman Value Profile assessments, gained valuable insights to help them grow as leaders, participated in our Leadership Matters Series, and participated in Leading Across Differences, an exciting new national pilot program focused on collaborative problem-solving.

They also enjoyed an incredible behind-the-scenes look at Memorial Hermann, including tours of Memorial Hermann Life Flight, Canopy Cancer Survivorship Center, and a trauma operating room!

The day wrapped up with one of the most anticipated moments of the year - the Class Project Reveal! This year's teams will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in our community through projects benefiting Meals on Wheels Montgomery County , YES to YOUTH - Montgomery County Youth Services , Compassion United, and Love Fosters Hope. The class then celebrated with a beautiful w**e and cheese reception on the terrace.

A huge thank you to Session Director Linda Manhardt Nelson ’99 for thoughtfully planning such an outstanding day, and to Memorial Hermann for generously hosting and sponsoring this incredible experience!

What if one simple purchase could help a local senior feel remembered this Thanksgiving?

LMC alumni, this is our opportunity to live out one of our most important core values: WE GIVE BACK.

On October 8 at our Homecoming Event, our LMC family will fill and decorate Thanksgiving bags, adding handwritten notes of encouragement before Meals on Wheels delivers them to seniors throughout our community.

A full room. A powerful message. A wonderful morning of leadership and connection!

Today’s LMC Quarterly Leadership Breakfast featured Kenneth Reeves, Sr., who challenged us with:

“From Participation to Performance: Everyone Has a Winning Role.”

Kenneth reminded us that strong teams don’t succeed because of one person. They win when everyone understands their role, embraces it, and brings their best.

What an exciting kickoff to the year for the LMC Class of 2027 at their Opening Retreat this week!

From team building and meaningful connections to plenty of fun along the way, this class fully leaned into the experience from the very beginning.

A special thank you to Dr. Chad Nelson of the Texas A&M Center for Executive Development for his impactful facilitation and for helping the class build a strong foundation as a team. We’re also grateful to our incredible Core Group Leaders for a fun, memorable Core Group Reveal; our Retreat Chair, Tiffany Ortiz; and our nonprofit partners for sharing their organizations and project opportunities with the class.

We are so proud of the Class of 2027 and the energy, openness, and enthusiasm they brought to Retreat. This is just the beginning, and we can’t wait to see what the year ahead holds!
