FAITH Fighting Cancer in Montgomery County

FAITH has raised more than $1,000,000 to help area cancer patients and their families. Our committee’s driving passion is to help our county’s under-served.

In 2010, several Montgomery County area women whose lives had been affected by cancer were inspired to form FAITH “Fighting Cancer” in Montgomery County. FAITH is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, which is run entirely by volunteers; we have no paid staff. We are not affiliated with any religious denomination or other organization. Since then, FAITH has raised more than $500,000 to help area canc

er patients and their families. We assist our neighbors who may have trouble finding help elsewhere, and provide educational services and preventative testing for men, women and children. Every dollar donated makes a BIG difference in Montgomery County.

Join us for our FREE "Pink Strong Breast Cancer Walk" on Saturday morning September 12th from 9-11 a.m. This Community Event is open to all, presented by 5OCP & our community partners FAITH Fighting Cancer in Montgomery County and Rotary Club Of Lake Conroe and hosted by our friends at Margaritaville Lake Resort Lake Conroe. We have a joyous celebration planned, followed by lunch at 11:30 in License to Chill at M'Ville (lunch is self pay). Contests, games, giveaways, refreshments - we'll have it all...and FREE! Save The Date for our new event, The Pink Strong Breast Cancer Walk, a FREE Community event, in partnership with the Rotary Club Of Lake Conroe & FAITH Fighting Cancer in Montgomery County & hosted by our friends at Margaritaville Lake Resort Lake Conroe. This will be a special morning where we spend time together to celebrate survivors & remember those we've lost - we'll have some serious fun (games, best decorated bra contest, DJs & so much more) to bring awareness to a serious cause. There will also be a fun lunch together (on your dime) after the walk, with special guest Mike Fuller playing for us in License to Chill at M'Ville. Registration will open on our website the week of August 1st.
