It's that time of year when newborn fawns become part of our Texas landscape. Does may leave fawns for hours while browsing and many assume that the fawn has been abandoned, yet this rarely happens. If the fawn is indeed injured or distressed, Texas Parks and Wildlife recommends contacting a permitted wildlife rehabilitator.
