As promised earlier this week, we’re sharing beautiful moments from behind-the-scenes of our August Restore U seminar. 👑❤️

What happens in that room is more than a seminar; it’s a space where hearts are encouraged, burdens are shared and women are reminded that they are seen, loved and not alone. We are so grateful to witness God moving through our incredible volunteers, staff, board members and every woman who walks through our doors.

These incredible Driver/Helper teammates are making a BIG difference at God's Garage - one vehicle donation pickup at a time! 🚘❤️

Earlier this month, they picked up this donated vehicle and brought it back to our garage, where our team will restore and repair it so it can get ready for one of the ladies on our waiting list.

🙏❤️ This is one moment when a hand up becomes a reminder of just how good God is.
As a single mother of three and a second-year nursing student, this client was working hard to build a better future for her family. But without reliable transportation, the challenges kept piling up. When she could no longer afford childcare, she lost her job, making it even harder to save for a vehicle and move forward.

Being without a car meant more than transportation; it meant losing independence and the ability to do things on her own. Receiving this vehicle from God's Garage changed that.

She stood with her adult son and our team prayed over her new vehicle, she later shared, "God is good. This will help me and my family out tremendously."

Through a difficult season, she remained faithful, grateful for the blessings in her life and encouraged by the opportunity to become more self-sufficient. She also shared how our Restore U seminar helped her learn to appreciate the little things in life.

This is why we believe what we do at God’s Garage is about more than a vehicle. It’s about creating pathways toward independence, strengthening life skills and surrounding families with Christ-centered support. Together, we can help restore hope and open doors to a brighter future. 🌟🌅

We’re so grateful for the women who served at our August Restore U Seminar, creating a welcoming space where single mothers, widows and wives of deployed military receive practical skills, mentorship, resources, prayer, encouragement and a supportive community as they build lasting independence.

This is what a new chapter filled with renewed hope looks like! 🙏🌅
After relocating from Arkansas, this single mother of four faced an incredibly difficult season. In 2025, she lost her job, her car was repossessed and mounting bills and financial challenges left her wondering how she would provide for her family.

Yet, in the middle of it all, she kept believing. She graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Master’s degree and continued trusting God to turn her situation around.

For nine long months, transportation was one of her greatest challenges. With four children, rideshares were costly and took precious resources away from other family needs.

Then came a blessing. Through the generosity of one of our vehicle donors, she was given the ability to safely transport her children, pursue employment with confidence and move forward without the burden of rideshare expenses.
“This vehicle gave me and my 4 babies hope again. 9 long months without a vehicle, endless prayers, and a lot of faith I knew God wouldn't fail us! I'm grateful for the family that donated their car. I pray that God bless you all tremendously.”

While on our waiting list, she attended our Restore U seminar and shared experience with us: “It showed me that I'm not alone and it refilled my empty cup!!” 👑✝️

Those words capture so much of what we see each month. So many of the women who walk through our doors arrive feeling depleted, overwhelmed and completely alone, carrying the weight of difficult circumstances while trying to keep moving forward for their families.

We create a safe, Christ-centered community filled with warmth, love, encouragement and connection to community resources, so these ladies don’t have to walk through it alone.

Her story is a beautiful reminder that even in the hardest seasons, God is still working and hope can be restored.

For our clients, a vehicle is so much more than transportation; it’s a new beginning. 🚘❤️

This courageous single mother of four has been raising children since she was 15. Today, she is doing it on her own, determined to break the cycle of violence at all costs and create a better, more stable future for her family. Without reliable transportation, finding better employment and getting her children, who have disabilities, to weekly appointments became incredibly difficult.

Now, this vehicle will open doors to greater stability, opportunity and independence. But friends, we are doing more than gifting cars.

She shared her personal experience about attending our Restore U seminar: "I felt like a princess once again, like I did when my father would hold me in his arms as a child. I felt understood. They listened to me without judgment. I felt the comfort and it was a major step in my healing process."

This is the environment we create for these women-a place where they are safe, heard, valued and reminded that God sees them and loves them. 👑 ✝️ ❤️

And in the midst of all she has walked through, she was reminded of God's faithfulness: "He showed up every single time reminding me to see myself with the love He sees me."

We are sharing the love of Jesus, surrounding women with Christ-centered community and connecting them with resources for stability and independence.
