Great session this week in preparation for our match against Lightning Elite FC.

“Who we start matters, because they have to be willing to put everything on the line for the badge they represent and we are U.S. Soccer Prospects… Everyone knows their role and how important these matches are, I hold everyone accountable whether we win, tie, or lose. Its not about the score, its about how we played. If we win, was it great soccer? If we tie, what could we have done better? If we lose, where could we have improved and why did those mistakes happen.” Coach Ibanez stated.

Our girls play for an important three points tomorrow and everything must be put on the line these next three matches.

MATCHDAY PREVIEW | U.S. SOCCER PROSPECTS WOMEN

The moment is here.

After a season filled with challenges, growth, and valuable lessons, U.S. Soccer Prospects enters this weekend’s matchup with one objective: three points.

From opening the season against SVD Beaumont, battling nationally recognized Katy Jaguars to a draw, fighting through storm delays against Athletic Katy, and going toe-to-toe with Houston FC, every match has prepared this group for the road ahead.

“We head into this game with hopes of coming out on top. Everything we have done has led us to this moment, and we need to get these three points,” stated Head Coach Ibanez.
Team Captain Andrea echoed that determination heading into the match.

“We know how important these three points are to us, and we know Lightning Elite is coming prepared to play tomorrow. With that being said, we will be ready and prepared to give it everything we’ve got.”

With a record that doesn’t fully reflect the quality and fight shown by this squad, U.S. Soccer Prospects is determined to climb back up the table and continue proving that they belong among the top teams in the UPSL Women’s South Texas Conference.

The mission is simple.
Compete.
Fight.
Finish.

🚨 AALIYAH RAMADAN | SIGNS BACK WITH US SOCCER PROSPECTS 🚨

After having an amazing season with the U. S. Soccer Prospects last year, Aaliyah Ramadan makes a full return to the team. Coach Ibanez commented “ Aaliyah Ramadan is an amazing player when she steps on to the field her Aura is sensed! She has size, speed, strength and is an explosive clinical finisher. Just what we need to finish this season strong. I am super ecstatic to have Aaliyah back on the roster!”

An amazing move made by Ibanez having a good relationship with Ramadan, both look forward to an amazing season this year!

Aaliyah commented “I am ready to be back playing, I have missed it. I look forward to helping USSP get back to the top of the table this season.”

With 4 games left and everything on the line the womens program takes a chance on Ramadan helping them recover this season. Having a strong team already adding Ramadan to the program will bolster and motivate the starting lineup as Ramadan was one of the top goal scorers in the nation last year!
