From The Lone Star Pastor Care Network..........Pastor's and Preacher's wives. This event is coming October 4th. It will be a great day of celebrating, fellowshipping, and learning. We'd love to have you join other wives as they meet together. The meeting will be local but also virtual for those who'd like to attend but came make the trip to southeast Texas. I am pumped to be able to spend our Resurrection Sunday with some very special folks. In the fall of 2020 I stepped away, after 24 years, as the pastor of The Church At 242 in Conroe. I am so excited to be coming back to be with them for their Resurrection Sunday service. It will be a great morning, so I'd invite you to join us if you could. Service begins at 10:40am.

Since I am getting old....er! If you signed up for our weekly Zoom study group and haven't gotten an invite from me by now, please let me know! If you're interested and haven't signed up for it let me know. We will begin with the first of two repeat sessions Tuesday night at 7pm and then do a second meeting on Wednesday morning at 10am. On this Thanksgiving Eve, I am so thankful for the blessings and opportunities the Lord has given me! Lest we forget, pastors and their families aren't insulated from the personal burdens of this world. Today, The Lone Star Pastor Care Network is working with pastors who are facing this holiday with the recent loss of parents and loved ones, with new born babies who are hospitalized with medical issues, with not being able to be with family and no one in their churches are caring for them, for men who are about to see major changes in their ministry, and who are facing major health issues for themselves or their immediate family. They are facing this holiday season without the financial means to do what so many others in their churches are able to do, and the list goes on. Yet, they will be there for those they serve and will do so with grace and honor and a call from God.
Don't celebrate Thanksgiving without showing your love and giving a tangible thanks to your pastor and his family!

One week from today our nation will celebrate a national day of Thanksgiving. While many will 'get away' for a long weekend of extended holiday, how many pastors will spend the same time without that opportunity? Shepherding is a 24/7 job and most folks won't stop and even say 'Thank You' for their pastor and his family during Thanksgiving.
Pastor, preacher, evangelist, minister know how thankful we are for you daily continual loving, leading, guarding, and ministering to the flock.
If no else tells you, The Lone Star Pastor Care Network says, "Thank You!"
