Hello friends we have a pup who needs help finding a new home. in need of new home.

Winston is an Australian Shepherd and blue heeler mix. He was rescued at about eight weeks old that was in February. He currently weighs about 45 pounds. He is current on all of his shots. he has been neutered and is currently taking heartworm and flea preventative. Unfortunately, his rescuer does not have a schedule which can accomdate a pet. Winston attends doggie daycare once or twice a week. Loves the dog, does very well with other dogs, kids and even cats. Winston is very social!
Winston has been thru extensive boarding and training with a local trainer. His initial training was six weeks- he has done additional training of two weeks while I’ve traveled. He does very well on and off leash. Of course he prefers off leash, ha! He is crate trained-house broken.
He comes from a single older lady with a hectic work schedule. For more information on this beautiful boy please contact Margaret Bowers by messenger!

I would not be surprised if the “cause of death” listed for me one day will be: “she couldn’t mind her own damn business”.
She was surrendered.
She was untangled from the tree.
She is now safe.
She will get a decent life.
She was lucky.

We drove 73 miles last night, in the dark cold stormy rain, to get her to safety.

I will never understand the “why” and “how”.

Proverbs 12:10 says, “The righteous care for the needs of their animals, but the kindest acts of the wicked are cruel.” Kindness to animals is godly. In fact, caring for them is part of our purpose.”

Hey and

I AM O K A Y!!!
First of all, thank you everybody that was praying for me, sending me good energy, holding me with strength. Nothing will ever change my mind on the power of prayer and yall, it had to be.

When I tell you, my family and myself have lived nothing but worry and being a bit terrified of the news and the reports and the test. That has been stacking up. They were, yall, just the worst you could imagine. I had my general provider literally call a surgeon (which was Dr. Aertker) and get him on the phone while sitting in her office as she was going over some of these test. Because they were that worrisome.

He went in today and looked around. I have some 20% areas of build up in some upper arteries and some 30% areas in some lower arteries. But my heart is strong and healthy. We asked, how can all the scans and blood work and ultrasound look so bad and yet, I am good. He said 🤷‍♂️. But I can tell you nothing tells the truth like looking inside and seeing it. That’s the gold standard and that is what I just did.

He did schedule a Doppler of my legs and we will get to that by month end. I need to continue my supplements, I have one med to take for a short time.

Give a few days, lead a healthy life and I can charge forward back to my crazy self.

That’s prayer 🙏 baby, I believe it.

We are tired and happy. ✌️

Hello and , Momanger here, we have some news to share.
We have been a smidge quiet lately as we have been focusing on a health issue.
NOT NUBBY’s or any of the permanent pack but mine.

So, here we go.. short and sweet, about two weeks ago, I had a heart attack or what we medical refer to as a myocardial infarction episode. I am okay. I am still standing upright and alive. My CT scans look sketchy, my CAC looks like a train wreck and my EKG was not stellar. We have done all the things and then some more things.

TOMORROW, I will go into St.Lukes and the Cardiologist Vascular Surgeon will do a Coronary Angiogram, to find out what is happening and get a game plan to move into the future. If I have to have stents they will do them right then. I may or may not have to stay overnight, depending what they find and/or do.
We are optimistic that I am just going to be able to go home at the end of the day.

That’s the short and sweet version and God is good.
Please say a prayer for my family as this has been emotional and not on our bingo card for 2025. Oh and send up a word or two for me and my doctor.

✌️🥰🤗

Happy Birthday NUBBY!

How were we to know that 8 years ago, the lives you would change. The awareness you helped bring, the joy you show for life, the strength you give for hope. The advocacy you fight for on the disabled different.
The countless others you help save, the friendship and education you gave to students in school, the book that made kids excited to read.
The love you always have when “just one more” needs a voice.

You have taught the world “different is NOT disposable”

It has not been easy. You put us through the paces on your care, at times it is very scary. But you are worth it and so are the many more that you have helped.

We love you Nubs, loves you and WEAR "Warriors Educate About Rescue" thanks you for the strength you give to always help “just one more”. Here’s to heading into one more year around the sun.

Happy Birthday Spotty Butt, Nubs, Nubby Nub, Nubster, DaBoss, NUBBY Bowlin!

We need eyes! 👀
Found male intact goodest boy. Wandered up to a business establishment and he is currently safe, but it’s a business, he cannot stay. Corner of 1484/105.

HE IS NOT CHIPPED. We already scanned him, not chipped. No collar. Very clean.

Make, intact, looks very much like a border collie mix, very sweet, very calm and very friendly.
Nice trimmed nails
Great coat
Clean ears
Teeth clean and young looking
Nice weight on him
Knows numerous commands

Area FM1484/105
It would be not far from Millmac or Waukegan or even Crocket Martin

Anybody knows where he belongs, seen him in a neighborhood, seen any missing post or pictures?

Share please.
