We can’t wait to see all of our 2027 Replacement Heifer and Filly/Gelding exhibitors at tag-in on October 6! Replacement Heifer Tag-In will be in the rodeo arena while Filly/Gelding Tag-In will take place under the livestock barn!
To help tag-in run as smoothly and efficiently as possible, please take a moment to review our Tag-In Do’s & Don’ts:
DO:
✅ Have your exhibitor card and DNA envelope ready. Exhibitor cards and DNA envelopes will be handed out at tag-in when you arrive. Please have both filled out by the time you are unloading your animal(s).
✅ Bring your photos! Please have your photo(s) of you with your animal(s) printed and ready to turn in with your exhibitor card.
✅ Review the rule book! Some livestock divisions require specific paperwork to be brought to tag in, so make sure you have everything you need by reviewing the rulebook before tag-in ➡ https://mcfa.org/mcfa-official-rule-book/
✅ Sign up for a tag-in timeslot on your livestock division page at mcfa.org. This helps us know how many exhibitors to expect and make sure our lines move quickly and efficiently.
DON’T:
❎ Be afraid to ask questions! Our mission is to champion the youth of our county and support you every step of the way. If you have a question, our volunteers and staff will be more than happy to help! You can also email us at [email protected].
❎ Forget to enjoy the start of your journey! This is the beginning of an exciting experience with your animal project, so take it all in and have fun!
We’ll see y’all soon! Good luck, exhibitors, and welcome to the start of your 2027 show season! See less
