Thank you to Kevin Fiscus for allowing our FFA Chapter to be able to ride in the tractor with him! He showed students how the new technology in the tractor works, as well as attachments for the planter. It was a lot of fun!

Yesterday, our chapter had the privilege of attending the FFA Day at the John Deere Test Farm in Bondurant. It was a amazing experience, made even better by seeing a familiar face, Abby Feldpausch, who helped facilitate the event.

The visit provided us with an invaluable look at the cutting edge technology currently driving modern agriculture. We are grateful for the opportunity to see firsthand how these advancements are evolving to help feed and fuel a growing world. Our students left with a deeper understanding of the innovation required to sustain our industry’s future.

Today was our last day in Indy, but it sure was memorable. We started the day by attending the Ozark Fisheries right outside of Indianapolis. It is a fourth-generation family goldfish and koi farm. It was so interesting to see and hear about the production of fish. Not only do they have fish, but other scavengers that are needed to maintain the health and balance of the aquatic ecosystem.🐠🐸

After our tour, we got to attend the Second General Session and, of course, do some shopping!

We ended the night by attending the Three Hills Rodeo. It was such a cool atmosphere and I think we all had fun!

We are so thankful that we got the opportunity to take this trip! We would like to thank everyone who donated or supported the FFA chapter throughout the years!💙💛🖤

First general session of the National FFA Convention! What an experience!!!! We had a great time singing, listening to guest speakers, and spending quality time together as a chapter!

Becks tour!!! Today we had the opportunity to visit Beck's Headquarters right outside of Indy! Such a cool environment, it was so neat to see all the different departments of the Agriculture world.

We would like to thank Grundy County Extension for offering us the opportunity to spend some time together on a Sunday! It was so much fun getting to hang out with the 4-Hers and compete in some old games. We also hope that the nursing homes in Grundy enjoy our custom-painted pumpkins!

This week, we had the opportunity to travel to Ellsworth Community College in Iowa Falls. Avery and Elle Schipper, Wyatt Gould, and Will Feldpausch competed on the soils team and earned a Silver Rating. Noah Carlson, Weston Grafke, Casadee White, and Kara Hill attended Greenhand Fire Up, where many freshmen from the NC district come together and learn about the various parts of FFA. It was a very fun day!
