Well mother nature is giving us a pile of snow . We will not be grooming tonight so if you are out riding please be careful with the white out conditions with the big wind gusts and also watch for trees or branches in the trail . We do have a few spots that can get some drifting so please be aware on trail 12 where they clear cut and on trail 45 on the rail road grade just west of the hwy 45 crossing. We will get out tomorrow and I will do a video. I see someone tore my trail blockage down off trail 3 to get you to Chicago Ave and the cemetery spur but the gates are closed on the trail so avoid that way .

These are the trails that are closed at this time due to high water in the swamps .

Trails will open at 8:00 tomorrow morning. We will be heading out to close the cemetery spur as the swamps a very full of water . The buckatoabon lk and pioneer lk barrels have been removed and I will be closing the spur off trail 3 to Chicago Ave also as that swamp is also full of water . We will get out and clear trees and pan the fresh snow we got last night and today. We are expecting some high winds the next few days and with the snow on the trees we may have some come down . So please ride safe this weekend and get some more miles !!!

Keeping it safe folks…and also protecting our valued landowner’s properties. Vilas County trails are temporarily closed as of tomorrow AM and until such time that the grooming team has enough snow to work with. Please stay off the trails.
