We are doing a fundraiser with ALL PROCEEDS (yes that means 100%) going to the Masonic home for children. We have 2 hand made quilts made by Mrs.Sylvia King, a well known LOCAL quilter! We have a small amount (150) of tickets to sell. Please let me know how many you want, and I will get them to you! All info is printed on the ticket.

Brethren, it brings me great sadness to inform you of the passing of WB Steve Deal who was Master of Conover 709 and most recently received his 50yr service pin in 2023.

Funeral arrangements are as follows.
Receiving: Monday August 3rd 12pm to1:30pm, at St. Marks Lutheran church in Claremont.
Church service to follow at approx 1:30PM
Burial will be approx 2:45at Catawba memorial park, with MW Mack Sigmon officiating the Masonic rites.
There should be an obituary available on Drum funeral home website by Thursday.

PLEASE consider attending the service as well as the Masonic rites at the grave site. If you will be attending the Masonic rites, either reply here in the comments, or reach out to me at 828-320-4405 so i can have an idea of how many aprons and sprigs to bring.

If you are an ADMIN on our page please feel free to go into the "followers section" and start blocking and banning all these profiles from zimbabwe, and all these other countries. I have already started doing it, but there are so many that i need some assistance.. If youre not sure how to do it, let me know and i will guide you. Ben Setser, Bobby Leatherman, Fred Sherrill IV are a few Admins... I have set it up so that only USA profiles can access the page..

Great night at CONOVER 709! We had 30 masons from 6 lodges in the house for our 2nd degree! Conover 709 is alive and well! Thanks to everyone who came out!

Good morning brothers…. Conover Lodge will be starting our raffle for two beautiful quilts, as soon as I get the paperwork through the Grand Lodge tickets are in the process of being made. And more info will come within the next week. Here are some photos of the quilts that we will be raffling off. Tickets will be $10. All proceeds will benefit the Masonic home for children at Oxford… We will be traveling around to some different lodges trying to get the word out about our raffle… the sizes on the quilt are as follows… The heart design quilt is 57 x 64. The patchwork quilt is approximately 90 x 81… These are some beautiful handmade quilts made by worshipful brother Al King’s wife Sylvia King. She is a well-known quilt maker in the area and to have one of these quilts is an honor. She does not sell them.
