Mystique's Rescues, Inc

It's been a CRAZY week at my bill paying day career so I haven't had a chance to post all week! We are still at $249.11 raised for Lil' Max's surgery and neuter.

Good news: found out that It's only going to be $125 an eye instead of $250!! That means that we have raised the funds for his surgery and now we just need to try to gather the $85 for his neuter and $25 for his rabies.

I could not do ANY of this without your help and I and all the rescues thank you for your support!

Please donate if you can. If you're unable to, please share! Any amount helps.

🧡 Lil Max has a new donation page — and 100% of your gift goes to him 🧡

We've moved Lil Max's fundraiser to Zeffy, which means zero fees — every single dollar goes straight to his surgery.

Lil Max's eyelids curl inward with every blink (entropion) — imagine sandpaper on your eyes, all day. The $500 surgery fixes both eyes, and he'll be neutered and vaccinated under the same anesthesia.

We've raised $224 of $600 so far. That's $376 to go — if 38 people gave $10, we'd be done today.

Lil Max update:

He needs bilateral entropion surgery because both eyelids roll inward and scratch his corneas. The goal is $600 to cover surgery, meds, and aftercare. So far, $174.11 has been donated, leaving $425.89 to go.

If you can help, donate here: paypal.com/us/fundraiser/charity/5307262— sharing helps too.

He's still getting his nightly eye drops and face wipes to keep him comfortable until surgery. Thank you for caring about this sweet boy.

Behind the scenes tonight: eye drops and face wipes for Lil Max. His eyelids roll inward (entropion) and scratch his corneas — every day before his upcoming surgery is an uncomfortable one for him. 💔

His bilateral entropion surgery is quoted at $500 ($250 per eye). He'll be neutered and get his rabies vaccine while he's under, so our fundraiser goal is $600 to cover surgery plus meds and aftercare.

As of yesterday: $149.11 raised, $450.89 to go. Thank you to everyone who's chipped in or shared — it all moves him closer to seeing the world without pain.

Lil Max has bilateral entropion, which means both eyelids roll inward and rub against his eyes. He needs surgery on both eyes so he can be comfortable and move forward toward his happy ending.

The surgery quote from LCSN is $500. I set the fundraiser goal at $600 to help cover the surgery, medications, and aftercare. He will also be neutered and receive his rabies vaccine while he is there.

We have already raised **$149.11**, which means **$450.89** is left to reach the goal. If you can help, even a small donation moves Lil Max closer to relief. If donating is not possible, sharing this post helps too.

Fable had his yearly checkup and Rabies vaccination today. He has a clean bill of health. Everyone can't believe he's 11.7 pounds! Just in January he was 6 pounds!

🐾 **Lil Max needs your help to see without pain** 🐾

Meet Lil Max, one of our rescue kittens here at Mystique's Rescues. This sweet boy has a condition called entropion — both of his eyelids roll inward, so his lashes scratch his eyes with every blink. Imagine an eyelash stuck in your eye that you can never blink away. That's his every day.

Left untreated, it can cause ulcers and permanent vision damage. But the good news? **It's completely fixable.** Our friends at LCSN Clinic can do the surgery on both eyes — and while he's under, he'll also be **neutered and get his rabies vaccine**, so he'll come home fully vetted and adoption-ready. 💛

**Goal: $600 — we've already raised $94, just $506 to go!**

Mystique's Rescues is a one-woman, donation-funded 501(c)(3) right here in Fayette County. Every dollar goes directly to Lil Max's care — surgery plus his meds and aftercare — and your gift is tax-deductible.

💛 Even $5 gets him closer to pain-free eyes
