Break a leg to our Girl Scouts who have been working so hard on the Connellsville CenterStage production of *The Little Mermaid, Jr*

Sophia is in 8th grade and is part of the stage crew. Ava is in 7th grade and is a te****le. Aly is in 8th grade and is Carlotta and Charissa is in 8th grade and is a bass. This is the 3rd CAMS production for Sophia, Aly, and Charissa and Ava’s 2nd.

We’re so proud of you girls and can’t wait to see the show!

Girl Scout Troop 53101 attended the 4th Annual Recovery Walk at Yough River Park in Connellsville and learned about healthy choices, resilience, and recovery. They also had the opportunity to meet with Commissioner Vince Vicites!

Bre installed the shower space at the Connellsville Area Community Ministries. We couldn’t be more proud of her!

Breann's project focused on providing a shower room for displaced people in her community. She led a team to install a shower room at Connellsville Area Community Ministries, filled bags with hygiene necessities, which were distributed to those using the shower, and advocated for the ministries' services to her local community.

Thank you to our seasoned Girl Scouts volunteers, too! Faith and Dusty celebrated 15 years in Girl Scouts. Lisa celebrated 25 years and Sam and Dessa celebrated 30 years. Finally, Colleen brings 45 years of Girl Scouting experience to our service unit. Thank you, ladies, for your 160 collective years of Girl Scouting memories!

My favorite years as a leader were when I was fresh out of college and hanging out with a bunch of Brownie Girl Scouts.

Aly, Gianna, and Sophia were inducted into the NJHS at Connellsville Area Middle School this week. Scholarship, Service, Leadership, Character, and Citizenship are the 5 pillars of the National Junior Honor Society and are all important parts of the Girl Scout experience. We are proud of you!
