Our Mission
Blessings in a Backpack partners with our community to ensure impoverished elementary school children are fed on the weekends throughout the school year. In Ashtabula County, we feed 900 students on a weekly basis for 38 weeks.
We are asking community members, businesses, churches, and organizations to partner with our Blessings in a Backpack organization in Ashtabula County by making a tax deductible donation on our givelively account or by mailing a check payable to Blessings in a Backpack to 4314 Shady Lane, Conneaut, OH 44030.

A weekend Backpack consists of breakfast cereals, a juice box, snack, and lunch items. Each backpack is hand packed by volunteers each week. Our Blessings in a Backpack organization is 100% volunteer with all funds raised staying in Ashtabula County, Ohio. Backpacks are delivered to the elementary schools in Geneva, Jefferson, Conneaut, Ashtabula City, Grand Valley, Pymatuning Valley, and Kingsville.
