History
Phoenix Transition Program is a 501{c}3 Non-profit organization in the Atlanta Georgia that is Trans-led and trans-oriented. Founded June 2020

Our Mission
Together We Rise as a community. We come together to build , to educate, to uplift and empower the TGNC community . Our community has suffered for too long. We've been denied access to services, housing, job opportunities, and so much

more. Our mission is to serve our community. As funds become available, we will be assisting individuals during a time of financial hardship. We help with employment referrals, HRT referrals, and much more. We focus on the needs of our black and brown community and systemic discrimination. Our organization is all inclusive of all TRANS identities and races. Community We Serve

Federal orders attempting to erase Transgender people are proving detrimental to our existence. The fascist state is legitimizing hostility towards Transgender people, and Black trans people are being disproportionately impacted.

A Black Trans man’s life was stolen. Yet again, the Black Transgender community is calling for justice because a precious life was taken heinously. First, we saw that Sam was missing; 72 hours later, the sad news came out that he was tortured and killed in Upstate New York.

The DA’s office and state police released a joint statement that there is an ongoing investigation but there is no indication of a hate crime. We know his death was a hate crime. The fascist state does not get to determine that for us. What is justice for Sam Nordquist?

Sam enjoyed making friends and used social media platforms to make friends. His mother said all he wanted was to be loved. He traveled for love and was tortured to death in such a vile and hateful way. Our heart is with his family, those who love him, and those who grew to know his name through the violent way his life was taken. ❤️
