We guide men into the wild to encounter the truth about God and themselves that leads to restored life, freedom and hope. We do this by: “Going to where men are, guiding them into the wild and introducing them to the truth of who God is and who He says they are as his sons”. This vision and mission comes from Isaiah 61:1-4 to “preach good news to the poor, bind up the brokenhearted, proclaim freed
om for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners”. Men, fathers and masculinity have come under severe attack in the 21st century and has resulted in an identity crisis of epic proportions, men no longer know who they are or what they are supposed to be doing. Reclaim exists to reach the poor, the fatherless, the brokenhearted, the captives and the prisoners in our communities by introducing them to the truth: Jesus Christ. As men encounter Jesus in a life changing way He will help them reclaim something that is rightfully theirs – their God given identity and purpose as sons of the King! Our focus is on helping men and father/sons answer these questions: what it means to BE a man, what a man is supposed to DO and WHEN a boy becomes a man. Our long term goals include seeing boys become men that have a strong conviction of who they are in Jesus and what they’ve been created to do and seeing men become fathers and leaders that reject passivity and embrace responsibility in their homes and communities.
