Ok ladies asking for a huge favor.
My neighbor has terminal cancer. He has 2 to 3 months to live.
He is an Army Vet. 30 + years of service to our country. He is the sweetest soul.
Would do anything for anyone.
His highlight of the day is mail.
So I am asking, would you please take a few minutes to send a happy card. Thinking of you, thanks for your service, whatever.

Auxiliary meeting tomorrow night at 6

The Confluence VFW Post Auxiliary is having a community yard sale and vendor show tomorrow June 27th starting at 8:00 AM at the Post at 901 Oden Street. This will take place instead of our Cancer basket raffle as was in the past. We are not asking businesses to donate this year because the Corona virus has already hit our local businesses enough.
Anyone that would like to set up a booth or participate in any way please come out.
We are also having the kitchen open with sloppy joes, hotdogs, pulled pork sandwich, potato and macaroni salad and plenty of desserts.
Please come out and support our Auxiliary, yard sale, and vendors.

We will not be holding our usual Cancer Benefit this year. At this time, we do not want to solicit our local businesses for donations. On June 27th we will be hosting a fleamarket and bake sale. It will begin at 8 a.m. and last until 4 p.m.

The VFW Auxiliary is holding the monthly meeting on Monday, May 18th 2020.

With the Coronavirus, we will not be having our cancer fund raiser, as we feel the small businesses we get support from have suffered enough with the shutdown. We have funds available, if you know of anyone that needs a grant, we will be glad to help.

We will be holding our yard sale/vendor show on the last Saturday in June coinciding with Hometown Days. If anyone is interested in setting up a table please contact the VFW at 814-395-3214 or Diane at 724-322-3225.

This meeting is also important as we are electing new officers for the year. Anyone interested in a position within the auxiliary, please come and check it out. We can discuss what obligations are required. We need some new ideas for fund raisers.
