It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Cashes Dynamite. She passed away on April 6th, 2026, surrounded by those closest to her. After running the good race, she retired to the peaceful grounds of Building Bridges. We know she was loved by many and left a lasting impact on the veterans and friends she interacted with. While it is difficult to lose her, we find comfort knowing she is now at peace. Rest easy, sweet girl.
Please comment on your favorite memories of Cash we would love to hear them all.
We would like to share a few words from those who knew her best:
“Cash was the perfect split of ‘sweet and spicy’ and she could read me like a book. She knew my moods and tells; she knew if I was just coming to hang out or if I was coming to get her for the farrier or vet. She loved her herd, always watching out for them and keeping them in line. All hail the queen.” — Amanda, Horse Manager
“I don’t know how to put into words a relationship that was everything but. You spoke to her with intention, emotion, and energy. You could always trust her to be honest, and she made you honest with yourself. She taught you it’s okay if you don’t want to be with everyone all the time, but she also taught you how important it is to connect. She taught you how to stand up for yourself, while still demanding respect and understanding. I’ll miss everything about her.” — Chris, Equine Professional
“Cash taught me independence she was her own boss and she knew it. I enjoyed seeing her interact with veterans and she picked selected people to be her special human. Her needs were very clear and that opened my eyes to the question of what are my needs? I can’t put into words how grateful I am to have known her and she will be so missed. She was a sassy girl and had this amazing energy that is unmatched, she was dynamite!” — Kristy- Equine Professional
