It's that time of year again where the LFL gets a lil fall haul! If you have fall related reads or anything spooky please drop them off! I'll be sorting books today and hopefully can get it fully stocked again today since the weather is nice. Hope everyone is doing well. 🖤

Happy Summer everyone!
Some neighbors and I are sorting through things and putting a few items near the library for 🆓 There's currently a grill out there and thinking I might put a small xmas tree out there too. Come get em before the rain does! ♨️🎄

There's plenty of room for more! But a new round of books have been swapped out. Cobwebs and creepy crawlers removed. I can add a little more as we go but most of it is done!! Finally!! Yay!!

Sorry for being later than I intended. But TODAY IS THE DAY!! We are getting things cleaned up! If you want to repurpose old books, if you want to stop by and see a new circulation of books or if you want to donate, today is a perfect day to stop by! Hoping to get this done in the next few hrs.

Hey guys! Sorry I missed my update for May,🫢 I honestly haven't been out at the library much lately. The weather hasn't exactly been inviting, so I've been putting off the big overhaul it needs.

Since it's finally warming up this week, I'm going to head out there and give it a complete reset. It is always a huge project to take everything out, sort through the stacks, and give the whole thing a good wipe down. I did a deep clean at the beginning of the year, but that is about all the love it has gotten so far. I do have a few extra boxes 📚 📚 ready to go so we can get some fresh titles in rotation. With school letting out, this is the perfect time for donations. If you are doing some late spring cleaning, clearing out closets, or trying to find a home for children's books your kids have outgrown, the library is always happy to take them.

I really just wanted to check in since it has been a minute, and I want to say a huge thank you for all the recent donations. I have definitely noticed more people stopping by and visiting the library lately, which is so awesome to see.

Just a friendly reminder to please make sure the latches are fully closed when you visit so the door doesn't blow open and ruin the books if the weather turns.🪟🔒🪟

It is going to be really hot this weekend, 🥵🌡️ (predictions in the low 90s) so stay safe out there. I actually have a few extra neck cooling scarves, so I'll leave those in there too in case anyone needs one to stay cool.

Happy April!! We officially made it to Spring. The Library tends to pick up when the weather gets nicer and the kids are out for Spring break. If you've recently had a spring clean out or plan to have one soon, consider dropping a few books off! 📚📚📚

We made it to March!! One more week and we will have 7pm sunsets again!! Yesterday was the 1st Meteorological Day of Spring 🌼🌱🦋 I hope everyone was able to enjoy the sun while it was here. Here's a tiny break in the News for ya! It's Dr. Seuss's birthday 🎉 Swing by the Library and grab a book. I hear the rain will be back in the next day or so. Dr. Seuss was one of my dad's favorite authors! WHO are some of yours?? And what books are you currently reading?
