We went camping! There were some cancelations but we had fun and made it happen. Some girls had alot of firsts! I include myself on the firsts. Some things were successful and some were just fun to do. We all learned. We made camp with tents first and got settled. In the morning we had pancakes, eggs and sausage with the girls helping cook. Then we went to the canoes for fun there which it can be easy as u want to make it or hard. Lol! Then there was fun with swimming in the lake. We worked on the fun patch called Girl Scouts Love Outdoors. I will also have a picture of that so if any one gets that done from our troop weather or not you attended the camp. Let me know.

Leader: "Hey Girl Scouts!"
Girl Scouts: "Hey what?"
Leader: "Who wants to stand with the flags and maybe even hold one at the start of the City of Concordia fireworks? Just stand at the top of the risers in ur troop shirt with a sash on while they play our national anthem and then get down and enjoy with rest of the fireworks with your family. We were invited to stand with the Boy Scouts who have done it in the past."
I was impressed to hear when selling products that many people didn't know Girl scouts were still around so I thought it would be a good idea to get us more known and in beautiful tribute to our country.
