Every girl deserves the opportunity to learn, grow, and reach her full potential. In honor of the ๐๐ป๐๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ป๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป๐ฎ๐น ๐๐ฎ๐ ๐ผ๐ณ ๐๐ต๐ฒ ๐๐ถ๐ฟ๐น ๐๐ต๐ถ๐น๐ฑ, we're celebrating the power of education and the importance of providing girls with the basic necessities they need to succeed.
For girls in underserved communities around the world, something as simple as access to feminine hygiene supplies can make the difference between attending school and missing valuable days of education.
That's why Gleaning For The World's WINGS program is so important. At our Concord Volunteer Center, dedicated WINGS volunteers work together to sew and assemble reusable feminine hygiene kits that can last up to three years with proper care. Their time, talent, and compassion help girls in underserved communities attend school with greater confidence and dignity.
These kits do more than meet a basic need. They help girls stay in school, protect their dignity, and continue pursuing their education without unnecessary interruptions. Because when girls have the resources they need to stay in school, they have more opportunities to build brighter futures.
