I got to celebrate St. Patty's Day by giving a ride to school for our K- 1st grade read-a-thon winner and her friend. Note the flash of green at the neck and the scali cap.

Today we are holding space for a New Hampshire family and community grieving the heartbreaking loss of a young life.

The death of a child reminds us how important it is to talk openly about mental health, especially with the young people in our lives. Many youth struggle silently, and sometimes a caring conversation can make a life-changing difference.

Parents, caregivers, educators, and community members: please take time to check in with the young people around you. Listen without judgment, remind them they are not alone, and let them know it’s okay to ask for help.

If you or someone you know is struggling, help is available:

📞 Call or text 988 – Su***de & Crisis Lifeline
💬 Chat via 988lifeline.org
📱 Text “HOME” to 741741 – Crisis Text Line
🚨 If someone is in immediate danger, call 911

Our thoughts are with everyone affected by this loss. As a community, we remain committed to supporting the wellbeing and safety of New Hampshire’s youth.
