🐾 LOBO IS THE LAST ONE WAITING! 🥺💙

A couple of weeks ago, we introduced you to our adorable Chihuahua mix puppies, and one by one, Lobo watched all of his siblings find their forever homes. Now, he’s the last of his litter still waiting for someone to choose him! 🐶

Lobo was born in our care on August 9 and has spent his first couple of months growing up in foster care, surrounded by love. He’s a happy, affectionate little guy who loves playing with his people and soaking up all the cuddles he can get! He has all the fun, silly puppy energy you could ask for, with a sweet snuggly side that makes him extra special. 💕

Like any young puppy, Lobo still has lots to learn! He’ll need help with potty training, house manners, leash skills, and basic obedience. Because of his small size, he would do best in a home without small children or large dogs who could accidentally hurt him. Older, dog-savvy kids and smaller canine companions could be a great fit!

His mama has found her forever home, and all his siblings have, too. Now, it’s Lobo’s turn! 🏡 He’s ready to grow up with a family of his very own, and we would love to see this sweet boy get his happy ending.

Meet Gwen Wren! 🐾

Gwen is an almost 3-year-old Aussiedoodle/AMPT mix who first came into our care in early 2024. She was quickly adopted, but through no fault of her own, she recently found her way back to us. Gwen is currently enjoying life in a foster home, where we’ve learned more about her personality and what she needs to thrive!

Gwen is a sweet girl who does well with small children and other dogs, although she can sometimes play a little too rough with smaller pups. A home with a dog closer to her size would likely be the best fit. She has LOTS of energy, so an active family who enjoys adventures, exercise, and playtime would be right up her alley! A large, securely fenced yard would be a bonus, but supervision is a must since Gwen has shown that she can jump fences.

Gwen is still working on a few things, including crate training and building confidence around men. She has made progress with her crate and will now go in on her own, but she struggles with being crated for long periods. She can also be very nervous around men and will need a patient adopter who is willing to give her time, space, and positive experiences as she learns to feel safe.

Due to Gwen’s Aussiedoodle breed, habits, and high activity level, we require all potential adopters to have previous Aussiedoodle or other doodle experience to be considered for adoption. Qualifying experience means you were solely financially and medically responsible for a doodle of your own. Pet sitting, helping care for a family member’s dog, or having experience with a family dog of this breed does not qualify. Applications from individuals who do not meet this requirement will be denied and will not receive further review.

These four tiny Chihuahua mix puppies were born in our care on August 21st and have spent their first weeks growing up in foster care with their mama and foster family. Now, they’re ready to find families of their very own! ❤️

This sweet little crew loves playing with their siblings, carrying around their favorite tiny toys, and getting all the cuddles they can! Each pup has their own personality, from the most outgoing little guy to a girl who just needs a little extra time to come out of her shell. One thing they all have in common? They’re full of puppy sweetness and ready to steal some hearts! 🥰

Of course, these little ones are still babies and will need plenty of patience, consistency, and guidance as they learn the ropes! 🐾💕 The A Litter pups are still waiting for their furrever homes! 💕🐾

Born in our care at the beginning of June, these adorable pups are growing up and blossoming into truly amazing little dogs! They have come such a long way, and now they are ready to find families who will love them as much as we do! 🥹❤️

These sweet pups are active, loyal, playful, and full of love! They would make wonderful companions for families looking for a furry best friend to grow up with. Whether it is playtime, cuddle time, or simply having someone by their side, these babies have so much love to give!

Meet Ace Vanderbilt!

This handsome 2-year-old Goldendoodle came into our care at no fault of his own, and he is ready to find a family to call his own! Ace is a happy, friendly boy who loves getting attention and affection from his people. He has all the makings of a loving, loyal companion and would be thrilled to have a family who can give him plenty of love in return!

Ace is a wonderful walking buddy who does very well on a leash and truly enjoys getting outside for his daily walks! At just 2 years old, he still has plenty of energy to enjoy life's adventures, but he is not overly energetic. An active family would be a great fit for Ace, helping him stay happy, healthy, and fulfilled while keeping up with his Goldendoodle energy. He would love a home with a large, securely fenced backyard where he can stretch his legs and enjoy time with his family!

As a Goldendoodle, Ace will also need regular coat maintenance to keep his fur healthy and prevent matting. Professional grooming every 4 to 8 weeks is recommended, along with brushing at home multiple times a week. Potential adopters should be prepared for the time and expense that come with keeping up with his grooming needs!

Because of Ace's size and energy level, he is not suited for apartment living or homes with small or young children. He would do best with older, dog-savvy children who understand how to interact appropriately with a larger dog. We are unsure how Ace will do with other dogs, so a meet and greet is required for any potential canine siblings.

⚠️Important Adoption Requirement: Goldendoodle Experience⚠️

We are requiring all potential adopters to have previous Goldendoodle experience to be considered for Ace. Qualifying experience means you were solely financially and medically responsible for a Goldendoodle of your own. Applications from individuals who do not meet this requirement will be denied and will not receive further review.

Meet Torvi White! This sweet 1-year-old Chihuahua came to us along with four of her relatives at no fault of their own. When Torvi first arrived, she was very shy, nervous, and unsure of where she was. After a couple of weeks of hands-on attention and socialization, she has slowly started to show us the sweet girl she truly is!

Torvi is actually one of the more outgoing members of her little group, although she still needs some time to feel comfortable with new people. Once she starts to trust you, her loving personality really begins to shine! Torvi is a true love bug at heart and would much rather be snuggled up beside her people than anywhere else. She loves getting attention, giving kisses, and simply being close to the person she has decided is hers. The more Torvi opens up, the more we see that she is just a gentle, affectionate girl looking for someone she can love and be loyal to!

Torvi also seems to really enjoy having a small canine companion by her side. Having another dog around may help her feel more comfortable and confident as she transitions into a new home. We believe she could do well with other dogs, especially those of a similar size, and possibly even cats with proper introductions. A meet and greet is required for any potential canine siblings. Due to Torvi's shy nature and small size, we are recommending an adult-only home where she can have the patience and calm environment she needs to continue blossoming. While she is a little older, she will still need continued work with house manners as she adjusts to life in a home.

Meet Brownie White! This sweet 1-year-old Chihuahua came to us along with four of her relatives at no fault of their own. When Brownie first arrived, she was extremely shy, nervous, and unsure of her new surroundings. After several weeks of hands-on attention and socialization, she is slowly starting to show us more and more of the sweet girl underneath that nervous exterior.

Brownie is the shyest of her group, so building a relationship with her will take patience and consistency. She tends to become more open and trusting with the people who take the time to see her every day and give her plenty of positive attention. She finds comfort in the confidence of her sister Ginny, too! When Brownie sees Ginny getting love and attention from our staff and volunteers, she will slowly make her way over to the front of the kennel to see what is going on. Once she decides it is safe, Brownie will come over for some love, attention, and even a few kisses! Once she trusts you, it becomes clear that she really does want to be close to her people.

We believe Brownie has the potential to become an incredibly loyal companion and a true cuddle bug once she feels comfortable in a home. Her adopter should be prepared to give her plenty of time to decompress and allow her to adjust at her own pace. Having a quiet, safe space of her own will help her feel secure, and consistency will be especially important as she learns that her new family is there to love and protect her. A confident canine companion could also be a wonderful help for Brownie, as she seems to take comfort from other dogs and would benefit from having a furry friend to show her the ropes and help her see that everything is okay. A meet and greet is required for any potential canine siblings, and we recommend dogs of a similar size due to Brownie's small stature.

Bluebell is similar to her sister Brownie in that she can be cautious when meeting new people and experiencing new situations, but she is much quicker to open up. The more attention she receives, the more comfortable she becomes, and we have loved watching her confidence grow! She especially enjoys having someone focus their attention on her and is always happy to give plenty of kisses in return. Bluebell also finds comfort in the confidence of her sister Torvi, and having another dog around seems to help her feel safe enough to come out of her shell.

Once Bluebell trusts you, it is easy to see what a sweet and affectionate girl she truly is. She loves being close to her people and simply wants to soak up all the attention she can get! We think even more of her personality will continue to come out once she is in a home where she can settle in, decompress, and learn that she is safe. A confident canine companion could be especially helpful for Bluebell as she adjusts to her new life. Having a furry friend to show her the ropes and give her confidence could help make her transition much easier.
