Hey teachers! Don't forget that the New Hampshire Historical Society is offering several FREE professional development workshops in June and August!
JUNE
New Hampshire and the American Revolution, June 23 and 24, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. (Sponsored by the Society of the Cincinnati in the State of New Hampshire)
Geared for teachers in grades 3-8. Breakfast and lunch are provided, and attendees will receive CEU certificates for the two-day workshop and for any pre-training work they complete, as well as a $100 Target gift card.
New Hampshire and the Nation Workshop 1 (1600 to 1865), June 25, 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
New Hampshire and the Nation Workshop 2 (1865 to 2001), June 26, 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
These compact, content-rich workshops will help educators in grades 8-12 integrate substantive state history into U.S. history courses. Attend one or both! No cost to register.
AUGUST
Geography and New Hampshire History, August 11 and 12, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Granite State Fun Facts and Symbols, August 13 and 14, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Both August workshops are geared for educators in grades 3-8. Breakfast and lunch are provided, and attendees will receive CEU certificates for the two-day workshop and for any pre-training work they complete, as well as a $100 Target gift card.
All workshops are held at the New Hampshire Historical Society, 30 Park Street, Concord.
Advance registration is required, and all participants must be public or private school educators in New Hampshire.
