🏈 Concord Capitols Football Updates 🏈

Good Evening Capitols Families!
I hope everyone is doing well and has had a great start to the new year. I wanted to share a few updates and opportunities coming up for our players and families.

🏈 Middle School Offensive Skills Camp
For any 5th–8th grade athletes, Roger Brown and New England Gridiron Development are hosting their first-ever Middle School Offensive Skills Camp at the Hooksett Sports Dome. Roger is very well known in the NH high school football community and runs several camps each year that many high school athletes attend.
Coaches are also welcome to attend and observe how the drills and skill development are taught. Please check out the attached flyer if you are interested.

🏈 Capitols Youth Football Clinic
We are also planning to host our annual Capitols Football Clinic again this year for 2nd–8th grade athletes. This clinic is open to everyone—from experienced players to kids interested in trying football for the first time.
It will be run by Capitols coaches along with members of the Concord High School football staff.

Our goal was to host it in March, but we are still working to secure a location that works for both space and cost. At this point, we are hoping to hold it in early April before many athletes transition to spring sports. More details will be shared soon.

🏈 Coaching Opportunities
If you are interested in coaching this upcoming season, or know someone who might be, please reach out. We are always looking for additional volunteers to help support our teams and players.

🏈 Early Registration – Opens April 1st
Early registration for the 2026 season will open on April 1st and will be available at a discounted rate through June 1st. Registering early helps us get a better idea of team numbers heading into the fall season.

We also offer a limited number of scholarships for families who may need financial assistance. As a reminder, the Concord Capitols are a non-profit organization, and every dollar raised goes directly back into supporting our athletes and program.

🏟 Memorial Field Update
Many of you may have heard that the Memorial Field Complex is in need of significant updates. The facility hasn’t seen major improvements since the 1970s, and parts of the complex have now deteriorated to the point where they can no longer be safely used.

There is currently a redevelopment proposal being discussed between the City of Concord and the Concord School District, but the City Council has not yet approved its portion of the planning phase.

At the upcoming March 9th City Council meeting, there is also a proposal to demolish the current bleachers due to safety concerns, which could mean no spectator seating at Memorial Field for the foreseeable future.

If you feel strongly about supporting youth and high school athletics in Concord, please consider reaching out to your City Councilor and expressing support for the Memorial Field redevelopment project.

Thank you all for your continued support of the Concord Capitols Football program. More updates will be coming soon!

🏈 Concord Capitols Football Families 🏈

Just a reminder that our End-of-Season Football Banquet is TODAY, Sunday, December 14th at 3:00 PM at Concord Parks & Recreation (Canterbury Street).

We’re excited to get together and celebrate our players and all the hard work they put in this season.

A few families have asked about the dress code — it will be smart casual.

Thanks for all the support this season. Hope to see everyone there! ❤️🤍🏈

🏈 Capitols Weekly Recap & Season Wrap-Up 🏈

What a season it’s been for the Concord Capitols!

Our 7th & 8th grade team fought hard in today’s semifinal matchup against the Kearsarge Wildcats but came up just short. While the result wasn’t what we hoped for, this team has so much to be proud of.

Just last year, our program had only seven players total, and we had to merge with Merrimack Valley. Fast forward to this year, over 20 players strong, three straight wins, and a playoff berth for the first time since 2018! 💪

This group battled adversity, showed heart, and rebuilt the foundation for the future of Capitols football. Huge congratulations and thank you to our players, coaches, and families for your commitment all season long. You truly kept the spirit of Concord Football alive and strong. ❤️🏈

📅 Equipment Turn-In:
🗓 Saturday, November 15
🕙 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM
📍 Martin Field
Please return all cleaned uniforms and gear — and help us keep things in great shape for next season!

🎉 End-of-Year Banquet:
🗓 Saturday, December 14 | 3:00 PM
📍 Concord Parks & Rec Center (Heights)
More details coming soon — but mark your calendars! We’ll celebrate the season, our athletes’ hard work, and honor our 8th graders as they move on to high school.

From all of us at the Concord Capitols, THANK YOU for your dedication, spirit, and support all season long. The future is bright for Capitols Football, and the sky’s the limit! 🚀
