Thank you to all of our Cambridge and Hadley audiences this past weekend. We loved performing for you and were so glad to share the music that we've gathered.

If you missed them, you have one more chance to hear (a portion of) this year's repertoire at the New England Folk Festival (NEFFA) where we will provide a shorter portion of our work at *Noon on Saturday, April 26th*.

Find all of the NEFFA details at neffa.org including a new option for a short term pass called a Festival Sampler, good Saturday 11am to 4pm ONLY, valid in the Trade Center (Marketplace, food trucks, dance performances and more!), for $10.

Which is perfect for seeing BH as we will be in the tent by the Trade Center, along with the outdoor Morris, rapper and long sword dance teams' performances, and the food trucks.

It's Bandcamp Friday!
Go checkout many of your world music, trad, folk, alt rock, independent artist faves who are on this platform. Bandcamp pays artists much better than the others you know (we're looking at you Spotify). Many Village Harmony, Boston Harmony alumna have pages and cool recordings available there!

And on Bandcamp Fridays (some first Fridays of some months) the *entire* payment that you make to for your fave music goes to the the artist!

Our Boston Harmony 2024-2025 season begins next weekend, September 7-8. Join us in community and in song, with music from around the choral harmony music world and through the ages. BH is a welcoming, intergenerational, non-auditioned chorus.

Our first rehearsal weekend is open to all with no commitment – feel free to bring a friend. We meet one-weekend-a-month at the Masonic Lodge in Concord, MA.

2024-2025 Boston Harmony Rehearsal Dates:
–September 7-8: Open Rehearsal Weekend
–October 5-6: (special session with Ensemble from the Republic Georgia – timing TBD)
–November 2-3
–December 14-15
–January 4-5
–Feb 22-23
–March 22-23
–April 5-6: Concert weekend (Western Mass and Boston TBD)
–April 25-27: NEFFA performance TBD

The general schedule:
Saturday rehearsal, 1-6 pm (with a snack and tea break)
Sunday rehearsal, 11 am-3 pm (with potluck lunch)

Interested in being a housing coordinator? We are seeking someone in the choir to coordinate overnight housing for those who need it. We'd put you in touch with those who have offered to host. Let us know if you can help.

Boston Harmony policies: We have implemented some new policies to guide our work together and clarify boundaries and expectations in the upcoming year. Please read them carefully as you register. We'll have hard copies available at rehearsal.

Village Harmony alums and powerhouse close harmony i interpreters, Windborne, launching a new collection of Winter-time music from their repertoire. Don't miss it!

We sing for community, for an idea of celebration that centers around sharing space, food, and song with neighbors and friends, not a sanitized and commercialized version to benefit corporations. We sing songs from old traditions, to warm and cheer. In a world where music is separated from its source, we share the stories and histories, the imagery and care.
