Come sing with Boston Harmony this year!

Boston Harmony is a non-auditioned community choir with repertoire from a wide range of polyphonic traditions, including American shape-note, renaissance music, and music of Georgia, Corsica, the Balkans, Ukraine, and South Africa. The choir is directed by VH faculty Sinead O'Mahoney and Lysander Jaffe. We meet for one weekend a month in Concord, MA, with tea breaks and epic potlucks built in, and overnight housing provided for folks coming from out of town.

Registration is open now with flexible tuition and scholarship available. The choir is open to all singers age 14 and up - no audition necessary. Join us for an open rehearsal September 19-20.

It's Boston Harmony concert time.
We hope to see you and share our joy in harmony. Please invite your friends, and share this with your community. Our regional, multigenerational ensemble brings together singers from all around New England.

We offer three opportunities for you to hear this season's repertoire. All are learned from tradition bearers, from: South Africa in Xhosa and Sotho languages, regions of Caucasus Georgia, Bulgaria, Corsica, Lithuania, the Occitan region of France, a setting of Yiddish poetry, and both contemporary and traditional American Shape Note compositions.

Thank you Windborne for your work and your voices.
Harmony was indeed very fortunate to have had your teaching session and inspiration at this month’s rehearsal.

Thank you to all of our Cambridge and Hadley audiences this past weekend. We loved performing for you and were so glad to share the music that we've gathered.

If you missed them, you have one more chance to hear (a portion of) this year's repertoire at the New England Folk Festival (NEFFA) where we will provide a shorter portion of our work at *Noon on Saturday, April 26th*.

Find all of the NEFFA details at neffa.org including a new option for a short term pass called a Festival Sampler, good Saturday 11am to 4pm ONLY, valid in the Trade Center (Marketplace, food trucks, dance performances and more!), for $10.

Which is perfect for seeing BH as we will be in the tent by the Trade Center, along with the outdoor Morris, rapper and long sword dance teams' performances, and the food trucks.

Hope to see you, and send your friends!
