Today, we gathered to celebrate the life of Dr. Kent Sack, and there was plenty of Dolly. ❤️

One of Kent’s final wishes was that Dolly Parton’s music be part of his celebration, and we made sure it was. Her music filled Rainbow Community Center as friends, loved ones, and community members came together to share memories, laughter, a few tears, and so much love.

Kent gave so much to our community, and today we had the opportunity to give something back: a celebration filled with the people, stories, bright colors, and music he loved.

A heartfelt thank you to Club 1220 for the beautiful flowers, and to ViiV Healthcare for their generous support in helping us honor and celebrate Kent.

Thank you to everyone who joined us, volunteered, helped behind the scenes, and made today’s celebration so meaningful.

Kent, you were deeply loved, and you will be deeply missed. Your impact on Rainbow and our community will live on.

And yes, there was plenty of Dolly. ❤️

This Saturday, we will gather to remember and celebrate our beloved Dr. Kent Sack. 🌈💖

In honor of one of Kent’s final wishes, we had already planned to fill the Center with the music of Dolly Parton. With the heartbreaking news of Dolly’s passing today, that wish feels even more meaningful.

This Saturday, we’ll celebrate Kent with stories, bright colors, community, and plenty of Dolly. 🎶💖

Two beautiful spirits who brought so much joy into this world.
