The Widow Mother Foundation is a vision and purpose, born from a place of purpose. The vision was officially planted in December 2022.

As an organization, we are trying to answer this call by supporting these Widows and widowers financially, spiritually, and emotionally. Since then, we have helped a handful of grieving families and their children with the resources they need to carry on with their lives after devastating losses. Our hope and prayer is to reach many more families in similar situations and restore some semblance of normalcy and security.

WHY THE WIDOW MOTHER FOUNDATION EXISTS!

Many people ask what drives our mission at The Widow Mother Foundation.

The answer is simple: we believe that no widow mother should be left to struggle alone, and no child should be denied hope because they lost a parent.

Our mission aligns with important Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), especially the fight against poverty, hunger, inequality, and the promotion of quality education and well-being for vulnerable women and children. Every time we support a widow mother, we are helping a family stand again. Every time we encourage an orphan, we are helping to build a brighter future.

At The Widow Mother Foundation, we are committed to bringing hope to the hopeless and empowering widow mothers one after another. Through outreach programs, support initiatives, encouragement, and community development efforts, we strive to create lasting impact in the lives of widow mothers, their children, and orphans.

Excitingly, our upcoming outreach is fast approaching! We are preparing to reach more widow mothers and vulnerable children with love, encouragement, and practical support. We cannot do this alone.

This time around, The Widow Mother Foundation is taking love, hope, encouragement, and support directly to widow mothers in a rural area. We are ready to go the extra mile because every widow mother deserves to know that she is not forgotten, and every orphan deserves to feel valued and loved.

The Widow Mother Foundation Cameroon Branch is once again preparing for another impactful outreach, and this time, our hearts are leading us to the rural communities.

Over the years, we have carried out outreaches in Kumba, Buea, and Douala, touching lives, supporting widow mothers, and bringing hope to vulnerable children. But we strongly believe that those living in the rural areas also deserve to feel love, support, and the impact of humanity.

Many widow mothers and children in these communities are silently struggling with little or no support. This is why we are stepping out once again, determined to remind them that they are not forgotten.
