Friends of Forgotten Children’s Christmas Star program collects and distributes holiday gifts to children from birth to 18 years old throughout the greater Concord and Merrimack County. With the incredible generosity our supporters, over 760 children received holiday gifts in 2025! Over the past 50+ years over 50,000 gifts have been provided to thousands of children for the holidays.

The Christmas Star applications have begun, and that means local children have shared their biggest Christmas wishes with us.

Over the past 50+ years over 50,000 gifts have been provided to thousands of children for the holidays. These gifts would not have been possible without the donations by members of the community, local businesses, and social organizations. Each year the collaboration between FOFC and the community makes a difference in lives.

Last year, the Friends of Forgotten Children Thanksgiving Basket program gifted over 300 local New Hampshire families in need a Thanksgiving meal. This comforting meal brings people together, gives hope during dark times, and nourishes our most vulnerable neighbors. We need your help to make this holiday season a reality! Please consider picking up a few extra items for donation during your next trip to the grocery store.

We are in need of:
Canned Green Beans
Canned Corn
Canned Cranberry Sauce
Jar / Pouch Gravy
Box / bag Stuffing
Boxed Desert mixes

Come visit us today, THURSDAY, October 8th. The food pantry’s operational hours are from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM and then from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM at 224 Bog Road, Concord.

Celebrate the season with a visit the Pumpkin Patch at Bow Mills United Methodist Church, 505 South St., Bow, NH. The pumpkins are offered in all shapes and sizes for all your Autumn needs! Bring your family, neighbors, and friends to pick your perfect pumpkin and take some photos on the lawn surrounded by over 2,000 pumpkins. We are happy to announce that FOFC will be one of the lucky organizations to benefit from the proceeds of the pumpkin sales!

Pumpkin Patch hours are from September 28 to October 31.
Weekdays: 4:00 to 6:00 pm
Saturdays: 10:00 am to 5:00 pm
Sundays: 12:00 noon to 5:00 pm
