Huge shout out to our chartered organization Poplar Tent Presbyterian Church for supporting our Big Bounce Back event last week where Cub Scout Pack 38 Concord, NC was able to welcome back over 50 returning and several new scouts to the pack! We can't wait for the fun year ahead with all of these amazing scouts and our den chiefs.

Scouts from Troop 38 will be collecting books next week in support of Promising Pages, a Charlotte based non-profit that collects new and gently used books to distribute free of charge to children growing up in local "book deserts"—homes and neighborhoods with few or no reading materials. If you have any books you're no longer reading, drop them off next week at our pack meeting or Troop meeting Monday or Tuesday nights!

Cub Scout Pack 38 travelled to Belk Scout camp this week as they took on their dens' fishing adventures! Parents and leaders introduced cub Scouts of all ages to the fun, challenge, and rewards of fishing. Great job scouts!
