What a great day we had for our annual CROP Hunger Walk on Saturday, October 10th. We had perfect fall weather. Our turnout was good and included more young people than we’ve had in a long time. We had plenty of good food, and the time to enjoy it together. And we raised lots of money! As of walk time, we had raised almost $15,000 in donations! Some teams still have money to turn in, and donations can still be made online at https://events.crophungerwalk.org/chw/event/concordnh You can scroll down on the page to see the list of participating teams and click on one to make a donation. Last year we raised over $18,000 and we're hoping to repeat that this year. Sixty five people (and three dogs) participated as walkers, and another 20 people helped with registration, counted donations, covered the water station, prepared food, or did set up and clean up. Stay tuned for more pictures (taken by Craig Legeyt from our host church) and updates on our fundraising.

Join us at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints on Clinton Street today. Registration starts at 9:00 am, we gather for introductions & announcements about 9:30, and the 2.5 mile walk begins at 10:00. Pancakes and other goodies will be provided to walkers and volunteers at the church after the walk.
Donations can be made at the walk, but if you can't join us in person you can make a donation online at https://events.crophungerwalk.org/chw/event/concordnh Scroll down to see the list of participating teams. Remember that 25% of what we raise will be returned to the Interfaith Council to distribute to local programs.

The 42nd annual Concord, NH CROP Hunger Walk is this Saturday, Oct. 10 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints on Clinton Street. Registration begins at 9:00 am, we gather for introductions & announcements about 9:30, and the 2.5 mile walk begins at 10:00. Money raised helps Church World Service fight hunger globally, nationally, and in our own community - 25% of what we raise comes back to the Interfaith Council to distribute to local programs. You can make a donation in person on Saturday, or go to https://events.crophungerwalk.org/chw/event/concordnh scroll down to see the list of teams, select a walker, and make a donation!
