Ka 'Ohi Nani o Mana'olana Our aims are to:
• Provide for members of the community an opportunity to learn the many styles of dance from the islands of Hawaii and Tahiti.

This is to be done in a dance class format and will include instruction in the music, language, history, and myths of these unique cultures.
• Promote to the broader local community an understanding and appreciation of the cultures of the peoples of Hawaii and Tahiti through community shows and public concerts.
• Promote improved health and well-being by providing an alternate form of physical act

ivity via weekly classes emphasizing Hawaiian and Tahitian dance styles.
• Provide families with one venue in which all ages (children, parents, and grandparents) can participate in an educational, entertaining, and cultural activity.

We are honored to welcome internationally acclaimed Tahitian dance artist Poemoana Teriinohorai of Ārere Tahiti for a special workshop on Tuesday, May 26th from 6–8pm.

This workshop will feature both Vahine and Tāne ‘Ōte’a as well as aparima, offering a unique opportunity to learn directly from Tahiti through choreography, technique, and artistic expression.

Poemoana is the founder of Ārere Tahiti and an award-winning dancer, choreographer, and instructor whose work has been recognized internationally.

In 2011, we had a small handful of keiki ages 4-8 years old. Since then our Tiare Class has tripled, and we are so blessed and grateful to continue to teach and help develop the next generation of dancers ❤️🌺
