Thank you to the New Hampshire Environmental Educators (NHEE) for supporting our 4th Graders’ NH Environmental Stewardship project with a NHEE’d to Get Outside Grant!!!
CMS 4th graders have been busy exploring, learning, and protecting New Hampshire’s natural resources! Through hands-on environmental education experiences, students investigated ecosystems, native wildlife, vernal pools, forests, and floodplains while learning from experts at NH Audubon, the Society for the Protection of NH Forests, NH Fish & Game, UNH Extension, and Wildly Responsible.
Students are now turning their learning into action by creating stewardship projects focused on protecting local species and habitats, collecting tree data for the GLOBE Program, and even planting trees in the schoolyard this spring! Students are excited to share their knowledge and projects with the community at the CMS Celebration of Learning evening on 6-03!
A huge enthusiastic thank you from us to: , for supporting hands-on, nature-based learning across New Hampshire! 💚
