NAMI Contra Costa NAMI CC provides support, outreach, education and advocacy to families impacted by mental illness.

Welcome to NAMI-CC (National Alliance on Mental Illness Contra Costa). We are a vibrant non-profit organization that is here to educate, support, and give hope to people who are impacted by mental illness. Our purpose is to:
•Advocate at all levels to ensure that all persons affected by mental illness receive the services that they need and deserve, in a timely fashion.
•Educate consumers, their

families, and the public about mental illness.
•Advocate for improved treatment and treatment facilities.
•Fight stigma and discrimination.
•Support legislation that helps those with neurobiological brain disorders.
•Improve private and public sector policies.
•Provide more housing with support services.
•Increase outreach to people with mental illnesses and their families.
