Good Day, Troops.

Today is April 18th, 2026; the 57th anniversary of the single most horrific day of my short life. History documents that starting with the Revolutionary War, some 2.9 Million of our military have given their lives in the pursuit, or protection, of liberty. I knew some of them, as do all of you. They are all our brothers.

In particular, I knew 12 of them who, this day 57 years ago, all gave their lives in a courageous, gallant effort to protect themselves and each other. They were fathers, brothers, husbands, sons, uncles, cousins, nephews, boyfriends and friends, but most of all - they were men. They were the best America had to offer and they were at thier best. So I set this day aside every year to honor them and their memories and grieve with their loved ones for their loss. I do this because who they were and what they did is important, and it has meaning. And I cannot now - and will never - let this day pass without acknowledging their incredible sacrifice.

So with that in mind, I humbly request that each of you stop whatever you are doing at precisely 1930 EST this evening and say a prayer, have a good thought and/or lift a toast to these - our brothers - who paid the ultimate price and made their last sacrifice. Please recite their names with me so that we may together keep their memories alive. If you are so inclined, please take a photo of yourself and post it in the comments below; and may God Bless each and every one of you as I am certain He has these:

Kenneth Ray Brinker 20
John Burgess 22

Troops,
It would seem that one our most fearless of fearless leaders has assigned custody of our "MISSING MAN" display to one of our number whose name has been subsequently lost to posterity. This is critical because without it, we cannot properly honor our fallen, and at best we will have to shell out many claims to replace it. So...if you happen to b3 the current custodian of said display, please either contact me through this message, or get in touch with one of our officers, at their office, sirs.
We now return control of your lives to your spouses. Thank you for your attention.
